Well I finally ordered my new gun.

My wife told me to poop or get off the pot, so i ordered it. Only took me a month or so to decide. I had the money saved but i couldnt make a decision. Didnt want to have regret.

I got the Brocock Bantam Hi Lite in 22 cal.

Ordered a DonnyFL Tatsu.

Ordered a Discovery Optics VT-T 6-24X50 First Focal Plane MIL Reticle Includes Scope Cam, Filter, and Flip-Up Covers.

Ordered Mounts

Ordered 2 tins of JSB 15 grainers and 2 tins of the JSB 18 grainers.

Cant wait for it to get here. Thanks to all the guys who answered my many questions. I appreciate it.

Thanks guys. I cant wait. What made me make up my mind was how light and short it is. I also like the three power levels. Some guys on here said it only has two power levels but I called AOA today and he confirmed it has three. The low power will be good for when im shooting in the yard. Im hoping it will all be here before friday because im going upstate to my buddies to bow hunt deer but if I get lucky early there are a lot of noisy and nosey red squirrels near my tree stand that can be taken care of.

Congrats on the new gun. I really like mine. The Tatsu should work really good at quieting it down and I think you'll like the Discovery scope.

I have the Tanto on mine which works pretty good and I have the Discovery 4.5x18 ffp.

It's an awesome setup. So easy to shoot and extremely accurate. Just wish I had more time to shoot.

Btw , the best pellets for mine are the JSB 15.9, 18 gr and then the Crosman 14.3. All three work at all power levels.

Mine has three power levels but my buddies has two. Not sure when they made the change.

May I jump in and ask a question about the Bantam for anyone who owns one?
Would you return the gun if it ONLY shot Crosman pellets from the tins the best?

H&N and JSBs were not more accurate than Crosmans in this case, tried them ALL.

I am concerned because I am aware that the QC on Crosman ammo are not always good.

Even more concerning is that the select brown boxed Premiers seem to be discontinued.

A friend of mine experienced a Daysate Air Wolf MCT and Cricket both in 22 with the same results

and found that they only did one holers with Crosman pellets.

Asking this because it seems as though Crosman has passed its prime when it comes to pellets.

TIA

You're going to love the Bantam..light, accurate, quiet and fun to shoot. DId I say accurate? Never bothered trying the Crosman's but ours loves the s the JSB 15.89's and most of the H&N's shoot well too. It's just a great gun! Stoti

Here's a pic of my son shooting his Bantam at the river about an hour ago. He loves it!!! You will too.

WV, I really love my .22 Brocock Bantam HiLite beech, but YES I'd return it if it only shot Croman pellets well! As I knew it would be, the best ammo in mine is 15.9 and 18.1 JSBs.

I haven'r done much offhand shooting since getting out of silhouette and field target competitions, but out of curiosity decided to see how the Bantam does. Think i shoot it as well or better offhand than any rifle I've ever had. Actually surprised myself!

Thank you ANGman figured that the JSBs should do better at extended ranges out to 100 in 22.

Thanks guys, im itching.

cea1960 i was gonna get the bantam sniper too but im a little nervous of the regulator. Never had one and worried of the stories i keep hearing (all brands). So after hearing how many consistent shots the hi lite gets and the 5 hundred dollar difference my mind was made up. Then I was able to get all the other goodies I needed to set it up right.
