Well, how rugged are these guns? Just took a tumble...

Well, I have a JKHan Krosa in .22 that I love. I just managed to miss a step going downstairs with my rifle and teakettled my ass down the stairs. Pretty sure I broke my wrist... That's not my concern though. My rifle went through the wall halfway up the barrel. I now notice a clicking in my gun that didn't seem present before (could be wrong).

After collecting myself and promptly letting out an extended string of explitives I went out and fired a couple rounds. Everything SOUNDS good, but it's dark and I have no way of knowing if my pellets are pulling to the next county or not yet.

long story short. IF I have an issue from this do we have someone here I can send this too that can fix it? V ray willing to pay for services. Just not capable of doing the work myself. I can barely type this up in fact.

Run a chrony string. hopefully you had a previous one that you can compare it. There should be a manuel that should help make some minor adjustments if you need to adjust the speed. You can call one of the distributors and get a recommendation if you still need to have it repaired. Best of luck and hope your wrists ia OK. Get it looked at if there is a lot of swelling. Ibuprofen works well for the swelling!

Ha... I don't have a chrony string for it... I was going to do everything on Monday and Tuesday. I've been SWAMPED with work prepping for this weekend and now I'm going to be messed up on that too! Good lord, I didn't even think about that until just now... When it rains, it pours! I didn't even have a reason to freaking be moving it. I just wanted to hold it for awhile! I'm so pissed at myself!

Decent amount of swelling though. It was pretty immediate actually. My father in law specializes in orthopedics and sports medicine, so LUCKILY I am equipped to take care of the wrist easily enough. The bastard still charges me half the time though... He did say no ibuprofen because it can retard bone growth if it IS broken/fractured, so I am drinking Merlot as an alternative for tonight and have a warm pack on it now. LOL!

I'm trying to figure out how it happened, but it was just so fast. I was at the bottom of the stairs before I even realized what happened or was happening. I tried to get the rifle up and protect it and I'm thinking that's how I punched the barrel through the wall. I don't know... Visually it's fine aside from the drywall on the moderator and a small scratch on the barrel.

Omg... I woke up hoping this was all a bad dream and realized very quickly my wrist HURTS! Bummer it wasn't. Well, off to work for my epic failure of a day and then X-rays at lunch. Yippee! Im also super excited my body feels like it just fell down the stairs! Gosh golly geewhiz team, I'm just rip roaring and ready to go, excited for my day! It's even DUMPING rain outside! How could Mother Nature have known I wanted to stand in the rain all day hoping I'd catch a cold? FML!

Thanks for for the well wishes though! I'll pass them on to Noblese since she is prolly feeling it just as much as me. Hopefully I didn't ruin the barrel shroud or bend the moderator at the threads, because then she will want to start clipping pellets and what not. Ugh... I'm so disappointed with myself it's not even funny

Well, in my experience guns are replaceable-they're making new ones all the time! Body parts not so much-I still feel the effects many years after a couple ill-fated moments, one while body surfing and one from a skateboard. Take good care of your injury and take it easy and heal! On the lighter side, I took a tumble while climbing a steep bank and shoved the muzzle of my Marauder in the dirt. I removed the mag and took a shot, then took the end cap off the shroud and saw the baffles had dirt in them. Without thinking it through I took another dry fire shot, sending 5 baffles out into the brush! Took about half an hour, but I finally found them all. Not one of my better decisions!
Get well soon and I hope all's OK with the gun too!
