Well folks I finally did it

"Jimmy"Leo, you will love it! I just purchased mine last week from Tony, also in .25......Ditto what Salticon says! I bought the second to last one he had! I've seen the photo of yours.......Your gonna like!
Hey Jimmy would you happen to still have that photo :) and if you don't was there a difference in the color of the stock what was it compared to yours? And how long did it take for the gun to get to you?!

Leo,
Gun took about 10 days to get to me. I had Tony mount, level, and sight in my optics, along with mounting a picatiny on the forearm for my Atlas bi pod. Only 3 days for shipping.....

I don't have the photo any longer, it was in a text message, but your stock was a little lighter than mine. I could not see the wood grain in either, looking at the pics, but in person, I'm very satisfied with the look of mine! I'm sure your grain will look great also in the lighter shade.....both looked really nice to me! Hope this helps!

This story is familiar to me. In 2010, I made the jump from a Benjamin to a relatively unknown bullpup from a land far far away. :)

So, along with my congratulation, I must also say that I am very sorry: sorry that you are now completely screwed like the rest of us, and will likely spend half of your retirement on airguns. And sorry for the hours you must painstakingly endure between the moment the money left your pocket and the moment the gun is in your hand. If you ever thought it was impossible to slow down time, you are about to be proven wrong. :D

Seriously - congrats Leo!! Happy for you.

So KYgunner, I've had my 25 Vulcan sine 6-14...just been target shooting at various distances since my purchase and been very please with the gun's performance. Went out for a little hunting today, and wow!! Took 8 birds at various distances very exciting, longest shot was 85 yards and smack!!! Right to the head of a Eurasian dove. Very stoked about the gun. FYI chair gun ballistics software and range finder will complete your experience. Also I'm sure you have been getting educated with Ted's vids as we all have. Matt Dubber at AirgunsSA also has some great educational vids. I would not be able to make the shots without learning from Ted and Matt.

"plinker"I'm right behind you KYairgunner. I just sold a 1979 vespa piaggio (Italian scooter), and do you know what that means! Upgrade!! I've just got to decide on which one. Looking forward to your reviews and comments once you use it. Congrats!
Thanks plinker, i will try my best on the review I've never done one and unfortunately don't have a chrony graph.

"NCairgunner"KYAirgunner, what glass are you planning on? I have a Daystate Regal in .22. I put a Vortex Viper PST 2.5-10 ffp. It is short and light. Fits the Regal to a tee. I'm trying to decide on a bullpup. I want a. 25 in the 45-50 fpe range. It has to be short and light. Then figure out a scope that fits the rifles intended use.
I'm planning on using the gun for hunting long range and woods walking. The only scope's i have available to me write now are a leapers 3-12 mildot and a Simmons whitetail 6.5-20X50 these are not scopes of choice but just what i have but i would like to be able to put a hawke sidewinder or a SWFA SS 3-15X42.

Beach-gunner thank you for helping make my decision. I'm glad to hear from you how the gun preforms. Ted and Matt are the main people i learned to shoot long range i think i squeezed about as much information i can get out of all of there videos i think I'm set. :D it is truly amazing since i've gotten into airguns how much i've learned about scopes and just shooting long range in general.

The Vulcan will treat you well from every thing I read and in 25 what's not to like...well the cost of ammo, as you'll be shooting a lot of ammo. If it weren't for the Impact coming out the Vulcan would be my choice for a 25. I have a 22 Bobcat and enjoy it thoroughly, it was hard dropping the money on the PCP and the tank and shoebox, but the money is spent, so now that's forgotten. I shoot a lot of 22's and the cost of 25 would keep me from shooing as much....at least that's what I tell myself. When you have a great day of shooting the Vulcan you'll forget the price. Mine came when I took 13 starlings and grackles in about 4 hours time. They were dropping like flies. Before with a my old springer 20 yards was stretching it.....well know if it's in the yard it's mine...... That was an exceptional day. Now I'm waiting for the 22/25 Impact.

BTW- I think you and I may be the only PCP shooters in Ky.....

I know what you mean by the price of ammo for .25 cal. whenever i first get a gun i shoot it like crazy for the first month if i had an unlimited supply of ammo ( Like Ted :) i could probably shoot 2000 rounds in the first week but i will have to restrain myself. And i already have the shoebox and the tank :) that compressor and tank REALLY make life easier.
You and i are pretty much the only people i know of in KY that shoot PCP there is another member on here though that's in KY.
Leo :D
