Hi there I’m Kiko from Madrid, Spain. I’ve been shooting airguns since my father gave me my first springer a Norica Mod. 61 which was very basic but still fuctional after more that 35 years. I began to become serious late in 2005 when I decided to jump into this outstanding world again. I first started buying some pretty afordable springers from Gamo and Cometa along with a couple of hand guns too. Nothing fancy. All the springers are gone now except for my first Norica Mod. 61 which I will never get rid off. In 2007 I purchased my first PCP, which was an FX Verminator MKI in .22 cal. I’ve learned a lot since then. I haven’t had the chance to shoot much because it is not that easy to shoot outdoors in my country. It is quite restrictive regarding the laws and no hunting is allowed. So its all about love for the airguns and its growing technologie than I’m still here reading learning and practising as much as I can. I’ve been following this forum since 2017 but this is my firts message... yeap it was about time. After following Ted in his firsts Youtube videos with the Edgun Matador .22 I fell in love with the regulated airguns and the bullpup design. I tryed hard to put my hands in one of those first Edgun Matadors but it was very difficult by that time to own one. And very expensive too. Finally in 2017 I got my first FX Impact both in .22 and .25 cal I was so delighted by this new technoligie that I couldn’t help it and I just bought it. I have made a giant leap forward since then. Now I have a new FX Impact X, an Edgun Leshiy and most recenlty a brand new Edgun Lelya in .22 cal which I was very lucky to win on a raffle organized Francisco Eizayaga dealer of Edgun Airguns in Spain. That has been the greatest Christmas present ever. I will start sharing with you some post very soon. Again, thank you for your time and contribution to this marvelous airgun world. 

Hi my name is Bruce and I am from Atwater Cal. I have been using airguns mostly to do pesting for a friend on his dairy the last 3years. I now know what an addicting sport this is I have purchase 15 airguns in the last three years. Two from this forum in the last 3 months. I kinda went at this backwards also as I did not introduce myself before I started posting and asking questions. I appreciate all the help from members on the questions I have asked. So everything between there like revolvers, reloading, blackpowder stuff, Colts, Winchesters, Mausers, bullet casting etc I`ve been there. I am 50 years of age, married and have two boys. I hunt primarily here in EU and Africa. I collect vintage books in regards to hunting in Africa & India, guns ammunition etc.

Hi, My name is Monte, live in Honolulu, HI, and found my way here researching the purchase of an air rifle. 



My first "pellet gun" was a 60's Benjamin pump, soon followed by a Crosman MK I. Both remained actively used on a casual basis till the mid 80's.



My main interest at the time was wingshooting and bigger game--mainly deer, pigs, and sheep. I started wingshooting with a 410 Sears Ted Williams break open single shot. My first big game rifle was a late 60's Sako 30-06.



Nowadays I'm just looking to do some recreational target shooting at the range. A Benjamin w/ Lothar Walther bbl really excites the imagination--its bolt action reminds of the old Benjamin. Otoh I've mostly decided to settle for the simplicity of a springer, and hope to find the one rifle that will suit my needs.

My name is Joe. I live in NJ but, travel quite a lot around the country for work. I've been shooting airguns for about 10 years and really enjoy them! I've owned everything from Crosman to Daystate, FX to Benjamin. I consider myself an average shooter and enjoy taking a squirrel or bird from time to time. 

I've been a long time fan of Airgun Nation and have been reading the threads and following the stories from way back. Even before Airgun Nation was formed, I was following stories and ideas being posted on the old yellow forum. 

I was compelled to join this evening after reading a post about 2 major companies parting ways. I plan on presenting my opinion in that thread or another one related to the topic. However, I tend to have strong opinions. It's certainly not my intention to insult anyone, break any rules, or offend anyone. I just want to share my opinion from time to time when I feel compelled to do so. 

In case you're wondering about the name & avatar. I just like that movie and happen to be listening to it while I sit here at the airport. The picture is the same logo that was on Pitt's shirt downstairs at Lou's Tavern. Sock it to me!

I'm Neil. I live in New Braunfels, TX. (Texas Hill Country). I'm 75 YO and love competition in ANYTHING. I'm a stand up paddle racer, Pickleball maniac (4-5 hours a day) 6 days a week, love to lift heavy weights 1 hour a day at our great gym in New Braunfels (Das Rec), AND now getting back into air guns. I currently shoot a Diana 45 that I bought in the 80's. I'm doing bench at 50M and having a great time. I'm looking to buy a PCP in .22 for the same reason. My hopes are to find a used Air Arms s510 or FX Dreamline OR other quality rifle. I have 2 3000 PSI Scuba tanks. I'm a PADI and SSI Scuba Instructor so I could use them IF I don't get a compressor.

My name is Doug and I'm a chronic shooter with no end in sight. I'm 45 with a wife and two kids and live outside of Pendleton, Orygun. I've been a shooter my whole life. Got into air rifles 10 years ago with a magnum springer. My first PCP was a few years later. I'm a tinkerer and fabricator so I make many parts in my small machine shop. I got into 3-gun competition a few years ago and have done very well at that. I love air rifles because of the ammo cost and minimal noise. I shoot my air rifles hunting 90% of the time, with the remainder testing, plinking, occasionally holding FT shoots at my house.

Hey Grover here live in West Michigan. Been new to air guns since 2017 and still learning more and more about them. I have been an avid high power & shotgun shooter for years. Reload and have several custom rifles. My favorite is my 6MM Daher a wildcat cartridge but a ton of fun to shoot.

Mike, you are never to old for airguns. I was 67 before I really got hooked. Just be prepared to dig into your retirement.....LOL.

Thank you for the kind welcome. I wish I had stronger credentials to provide, but I am as new to airguns as one can be. Please excuse any questions you, as a group, have answered a hundred times before. The search function, as with most forums, doesn't really work that well. That's why you lean on experienced members.

Hey all - I'm Jim, 55 married and live in central Upstate N.Y. USA. I'm actually a "shooter" of a totally different flavor - photography. I was a US Navy Photographers Mate in the mid 1980's stationed aboard the U.S.S. Midway CV-41 which was an old aircraft carrier based out of Yokosuka, Japan. I have an old RWS model 34 that I'm pretty sure I bought either slightly before I went into the Navy or (perhaps?) just after getting out in 1987. I used to shoot it just for fun - mostly small game ( squirrels / rabbits / pests ) and then it . . . disappeared - for years. It's recently re-appeared though ( ;-) ) - I found it out in my barn while looking for something else actually. I've been toying with it / shooting some again and actively reading up on the sport / tech ( WOW - have pellet guns changed!! ) and have just recently taken the plunge to purchased a PCP which I'm excited to take delivery of soon.

Anyway - that's me (in very brief) - I'm basically very new to the scene, looking forward to learning lots - gave already learned a lot - been watching lots of youtube videos, reading reviews on various makes and models of pcp's, etc . . . . studying up prior to pulling the trigger ( yeah - insert cheesy drum roll cymbal crash ) on making a purchase. I'm kind of looking for a "welcome to your new gun - here is what you do to get started" - break in period, "leading the barrel" ( just saw something about that today as a matter of fact), mounting and sighting the scope, etc . . . .

Anyway, my name is Alex and I am from Canada. I have been shooting break barrels when I first started 10 years ago and I have since ventured into the "dark side" and owing 4 pcps now with my latest FX Crown .22 FAC. I have watched and followed all of TED's videos.

Now I have my own Youtube channel about 5 months ago when we started pesting again at a new stable farm and I began to start filming.

Hello, I'm CaleyAnn, a total newbie to air guns, but not totally unfamiliar with weapons. I served 24 years in the US Air Force, so I got exposed to the M-16 and .38 handgun. I eventually got familiar enough with those two to qualify expert.

Years later a friend of mine has been talking about his regular guns. So I thought that maybe I might try to try out some kind of air gun. I don't have a lot of money, so I am starting out with a springer type. I figure I can drop $200 into the hobby, and if for some reason the activity doesn't catch, all I am out is that amount.

I'm not interested in shooting creatures. I am more into trying to beat my previous records, like when I used to run. First I just wish to shoot at paper targets, but if I get the trigger itch, I want to step up to 10 meter targets. It's too late in life for me to compete. I turn 69 in a few days. So my body doesn't have that wonderful coordination and low heart rate it used to. But I still would like to see if I can shoot out the center of a target like I did when I was much younger.

Things I need to know about are just what I need to maintain the rifle properly. I've purchased a simple kit to get me started, but I am sure, like any rifle, you need to completely disassemble it to clean and lube it. Just hope I don't have parts left over.

I've watched a lot of YouTube videos to try familiarizing myself with things in general. One thing I noted is that many of those who shoot use some kind of weighted bag to rest their barrel on. I guess I am old school. What I mean by that is that the only thing I rest on are my hands and arms, unless doing a combat course.

Most people call me Chief. I'm a small business owner in Corpus Christi, TX. I work on motorcycles, deal in antiques and have a vintage audio store. I recently got back into pneumatics, but I really don't have anything special. I really enjoy build-ups and the end results. I've done a decent bit of fabrication in my life so if I can build a part, I prefer to. I'll admit, it's more of a time passer for me instead of a lifestyle. I've got questions, so hopefully I'll find the appropriate threads to ask them in.
