Hello, Larry Knutson here. A couple of years ago I was finally able to retire after 30 years as an Air Compressor Service Tech. I am also a 21 year retired US Navy Submarine veteran. Next month my wife Linda and I will celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary along with our three grownup daughters and extended family.
When 8 years old I received my first air gun, a Daisy Model 25 BB gun. A couple years later I moved up to a "Benjamin Franklin" Model 342 (If memory serves me correctly). Over the years I have did the Power Burners, Black Powder, and Hunting Bows. But my love of air guns always made me keep a couple close by. Although I have had many air guns the two rifles that have been keepers for me is a Benjamin 397PA and a Gamo HotShot, my "Take with me everywhere, Grab and Go" air rifle. I also kept a Webley Tempest Pistol.
Several years ago I bumped into a former Navy shipmate named Erik who was/is an air gun fanatic. His collection of springers, CO2's, PCP's Pistols and Rifles numbers in excess of 300! It seems that over the years he just bought whatever he thought was neat at the time or was on clearance. A true hoarder of air guns! Why would someone want 10 BNIB Diana 300R's. Any way, it rekindled my interest and now that I am retired I find that I have more time to $pend on my favorite pastime.I recently purchased my first PCP, a Benjamin Woods Walker Prod. It has been my backyard pest eliminator. My latest acquisition has been a Benjamin Bulldog 357 to help my brother reduce the Feral hog population in his Missouri hunting reserve.
Really excited to see all the interest and available air gun knowledge on the forums and hope I can contribute to Airgun Nation.

Hi everybody.

My name is Ian and I'm from the UK!

I've only been interested in air guns in the past 7 years or so. I started with the first air rifle I could afford which was a Webley&Scott xocet in .22 calibre with a fixed power Nikko Stirling scope. It was clunkey, stiff, inaccurate and had a safety catch that didn't work.... I loved every minute of it. Within about 18 months I had learned everything there was to know about my gun, I'd stripped it apart, cleaned it, greased it and put it back together more times than I care to imagine.

I used my Webley until it basically died. Then I purchased myself a GunPower Stealth single shot PCP (which in the US is sold as the Airforce Talon) I never could have imagined the difference between Springer and pcp.... Oh mah lawd! I've found I get better groups, faster shots and above all more fun.

I've recently started up my own YouTube channel but without some vital equipment like a camera mount it isn't really picking up steam. If anybody is interested my channel name is "The Essex Air Hunter" I'd really appreciate you're feedback.

Big fan of Sir Ted! He's taught me so much and I sucks that I can never repay him but on the off chance he ever comes to england first round is on me!

Howdy! My name is Rik Aldridge and I have been an airgun hunter since my days in highschool. Back in those far gone days I used a Sheridan Bluestreak in .20 caliber with open sights. I hunted cotton tail rabbits in Huntington Beach, California, keeping my three dogs well fed. I competed for more than twenty years in Police Revolver competition and hold Distiinguished Badge number 351. I returned to my airgun interest due mainly to Teds' influence. Though I cannot afford the PCPs, I thoroughly enjoy extracting all of the available accuracy from my springers. The perfectionist in me knows that I still have a long ways to go! I look forward to exchanging views and experiences on this excellent forum!

PS....For whatever reason, I couldn't get registered under my other ID of Precision under the AOL banner.

My interest is Hunting and long range target shooting as well as Videography and Photography. Hi guys and gals. My name is Lawrence Rollins and go by Larry or LarryR. I've been around guns most all of my life. First airgun was a Daisy 25 BB gun at 8 years old. Had my first powder burner at age 5 yrs. It was a 22 short and could only shoot it under Grandpa's close supervision. I also used to shoot trap and enjoyed it. After a number of shoulder injuries I had a reverse shoulder replacement...that ended my shooting guns with a serious recoil.

My current air gun love is the Hummingbird bull pup.

I look forward to the success of Ted's Airgun Nation forum.

Hey there, my name is Sebastiaan and I'm from the Netherlands!
I've always been an shooting sport enthousiast, I spent 6 years practising the art of archery, which I still enjoy to this day.
I recently bought my first PCP, a Weihrauch HW100, and I am absolutely loving it!
As much as I would like to get into competitions with it, we don't really have a lot of those in my country.

I'm sure this forum will have a great deal of information and entertainment, and maybe some new shooting buddies ;)

Hi guys my name is Scott and I'm an air gun addict. I started about 44 years ago with a Crosman 760 then got my Blue Streak in 1978. I still have blue and it's a steroid now and still going strong. I love my HW springers and doing custom tunes on them. But PCP's have drawn me in I currently have a PROD tuned to 19-20 ft lbs for 24 shots and a little fat Webbly and Scott Raider in .177 tuned to 880fps with JSB 10.3. and 40 shots. The people I've met in the sport are great and many have become friends, I even got to meet the great and powerful Ted at the Pyramid Air Cup last year. Nice guy and not a bad shot. Thanks for the new site and shoot straight.

Hi all. My name is Neil. I'm from N. Illinois. My airgun addiction started with a Crosman 760 that I got for Christmas one year. Saved my detasseling money to buy a Benjamin. The next year a Sheridan. Spent several years flipping through the old Air rifle Headquarters and Beman catalogs longing for a FWB 124. Finally saved enough to buy one I think in 1980, which I still have. Got bit by the bow hunting /3D bug in the late 80's. About a year ago started getting back into airguns a little more seriously. Bought 2 Marauders. This past fall I bought a Cricket carbine in .25.

Hi my name is Jim Chapman, I've been shooting quality airguns for almost 30 years, after coming across them when living in Europe. I hunt small game, predators, and big game these days almost entirely with airguns. I've taken deer and hogs in every state airguns are legal, and hunt with big bore airguns in South Africa frequently. I've taken close to 120 big game animals in North America and Africa. Lost count of coyote, bobcats, fox, and raccoon taken. I've hunted in 31 states in the US, and also travel to hunt small game a lot.

I write a column and do feature articles in Predator Xtreme, and my articles appear in Fur-Fish-Game, Game&Fish, Airgun Hobbyist, NRA Family Insights, Airgun Shooter (UK), Airgunner (UK). I authored four books on airgun hunting: American Airgun Hunter, Airgunners Guide to Squirrel Hunting, African Airgun Safari, and Practical Guide to Airgun Hunting. I am one of the hosts of American Airgunner on Pursuit/ Sportsman Channel. My social media connections are;

Hi to all,

I am Ray Weiss of Grafton, WI and am new to the forum, but an admirer of Ted's videos and reviews leading to some purchases of great airguns.

Many thanks to Ted and Michael for the great work on videos and for this opportunity to participate in communication in the airgun world. I have been a follower for the last 2-3 years and have become an avid fan of PCP airguns, doing target and pest control around home and property. Ted has been my main source of information through his reviews and I now own two FX rifles and am considering my next choice(s) now.

Michael, you showed a chronograph data form in one of your past videos that appears better than the one I made on Excel. I wonder if you would share it with us as a possible step toward coming up with a standard form to use so we could easily share chrony data between users. We could standardize setups to help collect reliable data to compare and fine tune our gear.

I am looking forward to participating in the Nation and learning a lot.

Blessings,

Raygun

Hi I'm Nik Chappee from Minnesota. I've only recently gotten into airgunning, but I've picked up a few lower end air guns like a crosman mk1 target pistol in .22 caliber and a beeman p17 in .177 cal. AIso i have a gamo whisper fusion in .177 for rabbits that eat up my garden and the occasional pigeon. I haven't gotten to do much hunting yet but, i should be getting some in soon though.

Hi, I'm Noah, im from Americas Dairy land and proud of it! I love to hunt with my Benjamin Disco, I have taken tons of small game with it and have a huge passion for airguns! I have been waiting for this website and am looking forward to sharing my love for air-rifles! I started out with a Red Ryder bb gun at 6, at 10 I got a crosman phantom, at 12 I ot a crosman M4 (temporary) from there I had a gamo bone collector and 2 Benjamin trails... they didn't work out so well. Then I was lucky enough to win the Benamin Disco from Ted, and it has been my favorite ever since! Thank you ted:)

Hi, I'm Roy..... I've just recently gotten back into airguns! I grew up basically on a farm and always had one with me when I was younger and then eventually moved on to center fire rifles. We just recently moved out of town and have some acreage perfect for air gunning so I bought a Benjamin trail XL 1100 a few months ago. Now I'm really considering swapping it out for a Disco or a Marauder...

Hi I'm David have a new and improved rifled barrel 760 I use it every other day have been into airguns off and on since I was 11 and dabbled in archery and little experience on a crossbow and slingshot love being in the woods or fishing from Illinois near Indiana border I await the future of the nation. I like what I've seen and hope it leads to a lot more. Amazing job!
