Welcome to AIRGUN NATION - please introduce yourself here!

Hi Guys,
My name is Steve, I live in the far north Queensland, Australia, I run a FX Royale .22 with a Optisan viper 6 - 24 scope, I'm relatively new to the Air rifle scene approx 5 yrs, I started looking for a $200 break barrel air rifle as my first gun but after some research I ended up dropping $2000 on the Royale (Thanks Guys lol), I absolutely love shooting it & do every chance I get, I learn so much from you guys & You Tube , I'm about to get a new Fx Wildcat .25 laminate stock with a Optisan EVX 4-16 x 44 FFP scope should be a great combo , I'm looking to maybe go some pigs when I get fully dialled in with it, Ill flick some pics of the rifle if I get a chance. I really like watching Ted , Matt Dubber from Air Arms SA & A few of the Poms on You tube & appreciate all the stuff that I've learnt off of them.
Anyway that's me, Cheers guys & keep up the good work.

Steve

Greetings and salutations from Pflugerville Texas, I am Michael and have had many pump or CO2 powered rifles and pistols over the years. I used to do pigeon pest removal using a Crossman Pump Master 760. I am now looking at getting into hunting of medium sized wild boar for pest control.

I would be most grateful for any insight and information about possible PCP rifles that people have found useful.

Hello everyone...im bigE. Been slinging bb's, pellets and bullets since i was probably 6 years old. Grew up in south Tx. on the banks of the rio grand. Hunted small game, deer, javalina and feral pig growing up to the present. Its awsome to have this place to share with all of you . I just love to learn from everyone and i look forward to every last bit of info i come across on here. I use to drive a big truck but i had to quit working to care for my sister who is handicapped...because she lost both her husband and son within 3 months of each other...they took care of her and when they passed away i decided to quit working to be with her. So whenever i get a chance i run to the woods or plink. I have trouble sleeping at night because i cant stop thinking about my air guns ! I really may have a problem...im in my 40's and im worse now than i ever was as a kid! I have watched teds videos over n over again...awsome! This is all very exciting.... model35 diana/.22 discovery/.25synrod thank you everyone and be safe...God bless airgunners!

Come on Peter, get with the program. Bryan here from NZ. welcome aboard A.N. I have a friend who has a Trail that cost him way too many $$. I went out to his place in the country and we had a little match. Poor old Bob didn't fare too well against my little BSA Sportsman Hv in .22. What I'm trying to say, meaning no disrespect to the springer crowd is, get a PCP. Yes it will cost you a bit to begin with but I doubt you will regret it in the long run. No recoil, outststanding accuracy - the BSA will shoot under 1 inch groups at 100 meters quite often, 10 plus shot mags, and you sure have a great selection of weapons, gear, and suppliers in the US. I get nearly all my stuff there on my yearly trips from down under.
Wishing you all the best in Cal, and in your selection of firearm. Bryan

Hello everyone, Bennett here 47 years old from NY. I have been shooting air guns since the late 1970's. Currently I am down to just two a Beeman P1 and a RWS 48 both in .177 cal. I had a bunch of others but sold them to fund other hobbies. Lately I am finding it harder to resist going to the dark side. You guys are a bad influence on me. This forum is an amazing wealth of knowledge.
Thanks for having me,
Bennett

Hi everybody. My name's Mike & I'm in Missouri. I, like most, started out with a Daisy back in the 60's. Then came the Crosman pump, Feinwerkbau 124, & nothing but rimfires for a while. About 15 tears ago I got a Gamo ( trashed it) & a Diana 460 (over powered). Then I stepped up to an AA S410 & loved it. But the Hill pump definitely impeded the experience. I got into archery for a while but an old hockey injury has put an end to that hobby. I'm back into PCP's to stay & wow has this market changed! After a lot of online research (this was a hard decision) I I decided on a .25 Wildcat. I topped it with an MTC Viper Connect. Then came the Great White tank & an Omega compressor. Then I added a magazine holder, so I had to buy 3 more mags to fill it. I've purchased well over $100 in pellets but I know that's not going to be enough. The only thing greater than the selection we have today is the expenditure. I can see a sit down with my insurance appraiser on the horizon. Anyway, I'm glad to be on board. I hope to learn a lot.

I plan on buying a .22-cal Bullpup-style Rifle. I'd like to get into Hunting [Big & Small Game], Pest Control & enter into some Comps. Only hobbies I do besides "Airgunning," would be Surfing & go "Off-Roading." (4-Wheeling in other places) Anyways! Enough blabberin' for now.....If you have anymore Questions, feel free to "Drop-A-Dime" anytime y'all want; Aloha & Mahalos!!

Hello from Michigan. My name is Darrell and I am in my 50s. Damn, that sounds old. I hate introductions! Grew up on the family farm that hit 160 this year. So, ya, I have always had a shooter of some kind in my hands. First real rifle was a Sheridan .20 cal Blue Streak. I still shoot it from time to time. Ran all over the state in the 90s doing FT shoots with my Daisy 777 and Beeman R-10. I did shoot the R-10 almost daily keeping the pigeon population down. That was until last month when I got a .25 Marauder. Now I am waiting on the bird flocks to come back north. The pigeons are getting pretty scarce! I got married almost 30 years ago, had kids and went in other directions. But never quit shooting. I had my own gun business " Barrels and Brass " , was a certified gunsmith and enjoyed carving gun stocks. Hoping to hookup with a local club and start competing again.
