Welcome to AIRGUN NATION - please introduce yourself here!

Hello, I'm Alvie

New member here, with only a couple of years of experience owning airguns. After shooting a few springers and pcp's, I settled for a .22 Cricket as my keeper.

Currently I want to try carbines as well, so there's a BSA Ultra on the way. Can't wait to get my hands on that one, and will definitely order a regulator for it.

Anyways, I'll be constantly around to help as much as I can and to get sucked even more into this hobby of ours.

Cheers

Hello ,everyone=I'm Alan- over the last 5-6 years,Ive been in and out of air rifles.I'm in again, what fun, technology is flying .This time around I started with a bobcat mk2 in 22, put a 3-12x44 bush tactical with a g2 recital, fell in love with the dots stay the same any power.added a pocket swivel and a 1913 rail, strap for the carrying, bumped it up a little to shoot 18.13 @870fps. when i received it it was pushing 15s 870s-Thanks fx for the lock-tite jackwagons.Started searching for help after it was rounded out, found what i was looking for here.,heated a 10mm deep well socket up ,action aiming down- set hot socket on nut, repeat once.stick allen threw hot socket when the nut warms enough itll free up.Thank you everyone- involved in helping that guy.,In gleaming the forums again,(H/S adjuster)I stumbled across( another regulated p-rod)Thread-Without asking a Q.I was able to make one of the coolest 17ftlb 24shot@700fps with 15,89s reg ed little guns with a marmot barrel..Thanks again everyone,That was a airgun class in regulating an airgun. In that process I found, adjusting reg..25 cal to shoot 34gr.or buying 30 and re barreling,No impacts in sight for months, poor impulse control- and I bought a Royal 500 synthetic, having a royal 400 before and bobcat same action,I'm somewhat comfortable working on.And out of the box ,Amazing 25 kings 870fps(thanks again for the lock-tite)H/S adjuster wasnt back as far as I'd hoped.H/S was only able to get me to 910 with kings, started slowing after that,so i backed it down to 890fps97-98% of max.(Thanks again everyone).and775 for the 34s Seriously thinking of not touching the reg.as planned,( from regulating an airgun class.@AGN) and just buying the impact to play with And thats where I'm at as of now,Seriously Thanks everyone from the Q.asker to the man with enough time ,and knowledge to help the topic along to conclusion. Its all here- Very happy to be back, Wow not an intro- Airgun saga continued.

Hello, I'm Ben from Winchester, VA. I became interested in airguns about a year ago when I discovered the excellent video content from Ted, AEAC, and all of the other airgun YouTubers. I've been shooting powder burners for a while, but I've really grown tired of the volatility in the ammo market. It kind of takes the fun out of shooting when you are constantly worried about whether or not ammo is going to double in price or become completely unavailable. I purchased a Benjamin Trail NP2 to get my feet wet in airguns and I've found that it's really nice being able to shoot in my backyard and basement. I just purchased a P-rod with a red dot "for the kids" since they always want to shoot with me, but the scoped NP2 is a bit much for them to handle. Glad to be joining the airgun community.

Hello all. My name is Jim (or James). I've been reading this blog for over a year and finally decided to join because of the AEAC and Anirgun Nation team up. I've been a subscriber to AEAC since I discovered it and find it to be one of youtube channels on airguns. The same goes for the Airgun Nation blog.

My interest in airgunning is plinking and some target shooting. I have only inexpensive rifles - a couple of CO2, a crosman 1400KT and a QB78D. I also have several CO2 pistols. I received a new-to-me Crosman 1701p for Christmas.

Hi my name is Mitch AKA skinny Mitch I am in my forties from Santa Rosa California North of San Francisco I started with air rifles approximately 16 years ago years ago when I moved to Arizona to go to motorcycle mechanic school mainly for Pigeon Pest Control in my backyard my first rifle was the Winchester 800 x .177, then I graduated and moved back home to California where I don't have the freedom to shoot in my backyard but last year while doing some spring cleaning I found my 800x and decided to get back into airguns so I started doing some research and found the Crosman 1322 feeling a little nostalgic and realizing that they are highly modifiable I purchased the 1322 and later the 2240 and modified them pretty much as far as they can go then I saw a video that Steve did on the Benjamin bulldog I was hooked on big bore then two months after the Bulldog I bought the ataman.357 olive soft touch stock again thanks to Steve's videos/review and a whole bunch of research of course anyway that's my story and I'm sticking to it I look forward to all the great times we're going to have a head

I'm Kenny. I have tons of rifle and pistol experience but very little PCP experience. I bought my first PCP about 6 months ago. It's an FX Independence in .25. I knew I'd be hooked on air as soon as I started my research, but I didn't know it would be this bad! I'm currently in the market for a FX Wildcat .25 to add to my collection and head down the "tethered" rabbit hole.

I'm Bobby. I've already joined and have been posting, but had failed to introduce myself, Here goes:

I'm 67 yrs old.

Retired high school science teacher (taught for 30 yrs).

Spent time in the early 70's in the 82d Abn Div (2/505) as a medic.

Am now teaching part-time Technical College in Columbus, Ga.

Been married to the same sweet girl for 41 years.

Have two sons / daughter-in-laws, and two grandsons (3 yrs old and 1.5 yrs old) one from each of my sons.

Lost my leg in 2003 to a motorcycle accident, but am still going strong. Have another Harley with a sidecar - still love to ride.

Have two Marauder Air Rifles (.177 and .22) that I bought from AoA back in 2012 and 2013.

Currently, I'm awaiting the arrival of my newest air rifle - an FX Wildcat in .25, also purchased from AoA.. I'm really looking forward to getting it. Only now, I'm wondering if I should have bought a silencer to go with it, but I don't have silencers on my Mrods, and am hoping I won't need one for the Wildcat.

I'm also into archery, Have two Elite bows and two Obsession bows, a Scorpyd crossbow and an Excalibur crossbow.

I also enjoy playing my guitar and harmonica. Have been playing for around 25 yrs. I like bluegrass, old time country and southern gospel.

Hello. My name is Ron and Im from Wisconsin. While Im not to hunting (bows and guns for 41 years) Airgunning is relatively new to me. I started many moons ago with a Crossman 760 and then with springers (Gamo, Benjamin, Remington) and now PCP (Benjamin). I got into it mainly to address a pest issue and from Sept of last year to Jan. 1 Ive reduced the problem by taking 34 squirrel, 8 coon, 5 Possum and 4 skunk.

Since getting the Benjamin Discovery, Ive taken to the CAD software and 3D printer and have been crafting modifications and accessories. (LDC, Barrel bands, Scope Shield, Digital camera mount and most recently a 6 and 10 shot magazine that turns the Discovery into a repeater. Ive just recently files for a patent on the Magazine.

Looking forward to interacting with members of this community.

I'm Neil Braga, I'm 23 years old, I'm from Philippines and my passion is hunting. I started hunting since I'm 12 years old. I don't own an airgun simply because I cant afford it yet I only rent an old rusty airgun from a local hunter so I can shoot or hunt during my free time. I joined this group because I want to learn from the experts of airgunning and improve my skills and maybe share my knowledge about the game we hunt here in the Philippines like philippine wild boar, wild bull, jungle fowls and water fowls. Here in the Philippines there only few people who enjoys this kind of sport so it is very rare to find someone who can teach me how to shoot airguns and there's no local gun store that sells airgun. I'm looking forward to own an airgun someday this might be my only chance to find someone who sells airgun at a low price. So I would like to extent my gratitude to the creators of Airgun Nation. Maraming Salamat po.
