Sure bring your son, we have fun doing these shoots. we'll charge 5 bucks for the day things start at 12 pm. We will get serious in March a USARB match. Hi Everyone,
Thank you for letting me be part of this informative forum. 
My name is Jon, and I am new to airgunning. 
I love guns, love to target shoot, but a couple years ago, lost most of my ability to hear in my only good ear , left ear is deft. 
So, with tinitus, no more shooting at ranges. 
Set up a small range for airgunning, in the basement, using a quirt trap and 3/4" plywood as a background for stray shots. 
Then bought a Sig Sauer MPX with red dot sight and a Barretta 92 FS. 
I love to shoot both, just wanted to have fun
and not be limited to single shot.
Now I am ready for a springer.
I could really use some help, my budget is
not limited, I just save up a bit longer. 
Both these guns are under 600 fps. 
Both are .177 cal.
I would like to be able to do some hunting of
small game, if necessary, and want a gun
that is accurate and easy to shoot. 
I have been researching for about 3 months. 
I like the Diana 34 and the Beeman r-7. 
I am only about 5'10" and about 148lbs, so I don't want a 4' long rifle or a 11 lb rifle. 
Not sure about a breakbarrel, kind of like an underlever. 
I like the breech to have access thru a small
door , but not sure which rifle has that
feature. 
I am thinking of .22 cal , only cause my friend
who does lots of hunting said to go for that
cal for hunting. 
That being said, I will only hunt for food when and if in a survival situation, otherwise, live and let live is my motto. 
Just my own opinion , have lot's of friends who are avid hunters, just no trophy hunting.

I've been on this form for a while and I think I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Wyatt I'm from Marion and mcbain area Michigan. I hunt a lot and shoot 100s of birds and this year according to my scoreboard I keep at gateway to airguns I'm going to hit the 1000 mark. I also hunt squirrels chippys rabbits woodchucks ect. The birds I shoot are starlings sparrows and pigeons .The airguns I own are Crosman 1322 and 1377, Benjamin discovery.22 Benjamin marauder .25 hatsan striker.22 Crosman phantom .177and a Sheridan blue streak .20. I like this forum and gateway to airguns for asking question and sharing hunts. I post my hunting videos on YouTube and if you're wondering there not the best but if ya want to see that my channels Wyatt Sikkema.

Hello my name is Ransom. I'm in my 30 and in St. Louis MO and been shooting air guns for about 5 years but am really just getting in to being serious bout PCPs now. Done most of my hunting with air guns the last few years. Mainly squirrel, rabbit, pigeon and starlings. Looking for places around St. Louis to do pest control or hunt. Have a Benjamin Mar 22 a Benjamin NP 22 and air force Condor 22 12in 25 in 24in.

Hello my fellow air gun users. I'm from the great state of Kentucky. Joined up on the forum for advice on the best air gun products. I'm trying to find out if any company in the industry makes an automatic pellet shooter in 25 cal or 22 cal. and made in the style,of an AR-15 or even a classic look wood stock, and I would like at least 1000FpS

Reaching out out for any experts or knowledgeable people to find out what's the best product before I make a purchase. Also curious to see if there is a classic look in a pistol . Revolver or 10 shot automatic. Of course I want the best option of FPS and hoping that's available. Please help me with any links or general advice with these questions.

Hello all. My name is Mike, I just joined Airgun Nation after spending an absolute ton of money on a new Airgun setup. Little background first. I live in a smallish town named Kennewick on the Eastern side of Washington State. I just recently purchased a new home that has about 4 acres of pasture that I plan to use for a couple sheep and cows (Pasture to Plate). Anyhow I am a huge gun enthusiast and have been going on a small "Mancations" to do prairie dog hunting and ground squirrel hunting in Montana and Eastern Oregon for about the last 15 years. Usually use .17 HMR or .22 LR sometimes a 300 Winmag. Anyhoo my new property has a pretty large population of ground squirrels in the pastures, and although I am in the county and can legally shoot .17 or .22 on my property I just don't like the line of site that I'm afforded to plink at these little guys. Now years ago I used to do farm and orchard pesting using a Beeman RX-2. Man I used to love that gun. I think I got it right around the time the pcp's were coming out. The guy I bought it off of was actually going to upgrade to a pcp, if I recall correctly. So fast forward to today, I still have the RX-2, but it just isn't as fun to shoot off hand anymore. Way to big and cumbersome, and after breaking that action 20 or 30 times... Well it just sucks..

So JESUS shut and tell us what you bought.. Ok here it goes

Hello all, name is Tony. Live in Louisville, Kentucky, and am 47. Brand new, I guess to air guns. Have some pellet rifles from when I was a kid. I am really excited about my new Marauder that is coming. Ted is the reason for the new hobby. I was looking for a AR15 type gun, and just never could get excited about the idea. When I came across Teds web site TEDSHOLDOVER it just really clicked for me. Cheap ammo, backyard instead of range, same MOA type of experience. The more I watch of both (pellet vs AR .223) the more it was obvious that I liked the pellet guys better, too. I had to restrain myself, I see a Wildcat or Impact in my future, but the Marauder looks like a sound first gun that will be good for a lifetime. As can be seen from my profile pick, I have a few hobbies, Motorcycles, golf, saltwater tank, hunting Bow, sporting clays, now rifle ( pellet). I hope to be able to contribute to the conversations and share my experiences with the group. God Bless America!

Hey all! My name is Kevin. I'm new to this forum and just purchased my first air rifle. It's a Ruger Blackhawk. I'll tell you now that I feel out of place with this just by the first views of some guns on the posts. All I can say is WOW!!! LOL.... Never had no clue how air rifles are such a big thing. I just had a few general questions as for care for these guns. What type of oils to use for the gun as for as barrel and piston spring. As I said I'm a rookie and sure you won't steer me wrong.

Hi ! Dave Austin from southern NH. Been shooting firearms since Dad taught me how, and at 15 got into archery. Have to 
admit I spend more time with the bow than guns. Recently I did purchase a Gamo Hornet and now just picked up
a Umerax Octane. I have several acres so I can shoot in my back yard, and I'm pretty sure I am getting addicted to air rifles!
Certainly different than the BB guns and even pellet guns around growing up! I do have a question I'm wondering if any one can shed some light on.
As i stated I just picked up an octane, so far I really like it, but the first twenty or so shots were very much louder than I thought they would be. I have read some 
about a break in period and lots of people say it will quiet down!! Well I just came in from running it through the chrony and The first few shots were in the 1250
fps range,which is breaking the sound barrier (I believe) as they are lightweight pellets. RWS Superdome @ 8.3 gr. I believe that contributes greatly to the noise.
All of a sudden the gun was much more quiet and speeds dropped to 975-1000 fps. Still plenty fast and the noise was much better,as I do have some neighbors!
Would this be normal as far as breaking in or has something happened to the gun? Thanks for any help!

Howdy folks, my name is panzer and just joined up after reading this forum for a couple of days, I found it while looking for info on a new FX impact, when I discovered that Ted was behind it I knew it would become a favorite! A few years ago I found my BSA Meteor from the mid 70's and started plinking in the back yard, the guns spring was really sacked out and the barrel had an awful droop so I purchased a HW35e from AofA and that was the begining of this. I put a down payment on a .30 cal impact so now the wait begins. Love this sport!
