Weihrauch HW97K Blackline .177

Ok this will make my 5th Weihrauch. My 3rd HW97K. I got to slow down. I got a new Weihrauch HW50S that will be here Monday. I just am tickled with these Weihrauch rifles. Right out of box they shoot great.

Gary, you mustn’t let Brad have More or Better guns than you, just buy a few more Springers and show him who’s Boss! At minimum I think you just NEED an HW30!

Does anyone know how HW treats the metal to get the SS look (paint, powder coating, plating?)? It does look nice but I wonder how durable it is Uj

Then get one, friend. I couldn't decide if I wanted to spend the money on one either but ended up getting one and love it. It was good out of the box but pure sweet with a sub 12 ft lb kit in it. If I do my part the gun will keep .177's in a 3/16 to 1/4 inch c.t.c group at 25 yds all day and easily competes with the top 25% of PCP scores at our FT club events.

Guy is shipping my gun today. He sent me this photo. This was actually a stainless look barreled action gun originally. He took that barreled action out and switched it with the blued barrel action from his blue laminate stock. It never has been shot.

I've got the same rifle shown here in .177 cal. Very nice, accurate, and a pleasure to shoot. The trigger on those rifles is arguably as good as you can get. Enjoy it.

Krale has been out of Blackline .17s for a while. I happened to be looking at their site tonight. Bad timing - they're back in stock and I have (had) the extra $. It should be here sometime next week. Uj

I love the thumbhole stock version of the hw97k, always wanted one in 177 or 20 cal, but i have one standard 22 and some other weihrauch models in 177 so i have not justified myself to get one but i will... Someday...
