Weihrauch HW77K Special Edition .177

Ok this gun is a hummer. Shot these just before dark today.

The OP mentioned wanting a 97K in blue laminate.

I have both a 97K blue and 77K SE.

One interesting note about the 97K laminate stock is that it's completely smooth - no checkering.

I've noticed if it's hot out and my hands get sweaty, the stock becomes a bit slick to handle.

The 77K SE laminate stock is checkered just like the beech.

Both are awesome guns with gorgeous stocks - just an interesting difference.

HW97K laminate, .177

HW77K laminate, .22

Besides the checking which the blue laminate lacks, another nice touch I noticed on the 77K SE is the word "Weihrauch" laser engraved in the stock on both sides, above the main checkering panel on the forend. Neat.

I also have a 97K with beech stock in .22, but she's not as photogenic as these two, lol.

All are from Krale. All will shoot into a ragged hole at 20 yards. The overall size of the hole depends on how good I am doing that particular day. I have a lot of room for improvement, but the guns themselves are impressive. And BTW, so far there is no discernible difference in loudness between the 77 and 97, even with the spring and Scotch-Brite DIY silencer added inside the fake moderator on the 97.

Just weighed both, 10 lbs 14 oz for the 77, right at 11 for the 97.

I'll just call it 11 lbs each. Hefty.

I'll have to admit I'm trying an inexpensive scope on these rifles.

It's a Tasco 2.5-10x42 AO scope. Mildot reticle, but MOA turrets. $60 on Amazon.

It's actually quite decent, but remains to be seen if it holds up to a springer.

The reviews on Amazon are mixed on that point.

It has a lifetime warranty, so if one breaks, I'll get it repaired and then just use it on one of my firearms.

Krale is easy to order from. I've done it 4 times. Order on a Sunday night, it arrives on Wednesday.

Only issue is your credit card company may disallow the charge until you can confirm it's legit.

You will need to e-mail/upload a copy of some form of ID. I scanned my passport and drivers license.

I think either one alone works as well.
