With open sights, isn't glare going to be an issue when shooting in direct sun ? Of course if you scope it glare won't be a problem.

Congrats on the 50S Stainless! I actually tried to buy that rifle. But was too late. I wanted to make a set...as I have one in .22

The one I got came with a muzzle break and a scope. I intend to change the scooe. Here's a picture of it in the JM Walnut stock I got for it. The one next to it is its big brother. R1AW in a JM Himalayan Walnut stock. My 50 has a Vortek kit in it and shoots like a cream puff. You might want to consider the upgrade. JM is selling his a "hunter grade" walnut that is sweet for 185. Although I still like the black and silver scheme too.

I went through a full list of rifles trying to decide which is best, how is the HW50S for you? I am dying to hear a recent true review of it. It’s either this or the hw95 I just don’t care for the extra power I just want accuracy. Let me know and awesome purchase congrats 

Love my HW50 stainless. I shot these 5 shot groups today in 15 knot wind. Rain ended my session.
