HW makes the absolute best break barrel airguns made. Either the HW or the Beeman R series versions are the best you can get and are worthy of a permanent place in your collection. They are great to hand down to your heirs too. Nice review, Joe!

My HW30 is on my "Not For Sale" list. It's exactly that "Smile On Your Face" every time. 

It’s the only springer I own . Accept for a FWB 300 with a custom stock that I rarely shoot. (collectors item). I think the HW 30 is the pinnacle of springers. The higher power guns just don’t tempt me. Need more then go PCP . My opinion 

After shooting spring powered air rifles since 1979 (a FWB124D , still own it) the mail lady showed up with a HW30S riding in a unique custom stock. I removed the open sights and put on a good scope. Hope to get out on Friday and bang away. My old hunting , fishing , and kayaking buddy had a Beeman R7 , so I have shot the model. I am going for smooth and accurate , not high speed. I have those and love them , but light and smooth is the aim.

New for Christmas! Just getting started breaking it in....but loving it so far!
