Weihrauch HW 97k Thumbhole .25, any good?

The 97K might be a little under powered for 25 caliber. From what I read with light pellets in that caliber you might break 600 fps but that is ok if you don't go for long shots.

Air Guns Of Arizona has the HW97k listed for $545.00 out the door. I would rather spend an extra 20 bucks on a new one than risk buying someone else's problem.

Good luck on what you decide.

Same thinking here on all points. I have that rifle in .177 and it is a well made, accurate gun. Thumbhole ergonomics are fine in my view.

Thanks everyone for helping me decide to pass on it. I too was thinking a 97 in .25 might be a little on the weak side, especially since I already have a HP Daystate Wolverine R in .25 giving me 50.43 ft-lbs at the muzzle with 33.95 gr Crosmans. I was just thinking of adding the springer to my stable, which already includes a .22 Air Arms TX200.
