Weekend Fun

I got to shoot with some friends this weekend. We met at a friends warehouse and set up a "killing field" at 52 yards. It included an old refrigerator and a lot of paintballs, plastic army men, shotgun shells and paint cans. As well as plenty of dot targets. Tons of fun. Enjoyed the company of good friends and my favorite hobby. What a great way to spend a weekend.

It was a great time. We call it the "Shoot-N-Tune". We use the time to shoot and have fun of course, but we always have something that needs to be tuned as well. So we tune triggers or set velocities or whatever needs to happen. And we get to blast away. Master Ho and John are a hoot.

One thing that added to the fun was that John had an old fridge lying around. We set that up with paint cans inside and blasted away. The inside contained the paint so we didn't make a mess in the parking lot. Before shooting the spray can itself, we made sure to shoot off the spray nozzle first!

Something else that was a real surprise was how easily the RedWolf shooting a 25 gr pellet could go through the door. Wow. I didn't expect that. Especially at 50 yards. And those little plastic green army men didn't stand a chance. Way too big a target for 50 yards with these guys.
