AAANNDDD, Nation,

Here's my disaster. Need to get my eyes checked, having front sight issues......there's 3 of them!!!!........

I'll have that sorted in a week or so, need to change lenses in shooting glasses to correct. Decent ammo should work better as well.

Bottom target was shot first, the target with the score on it, shot last.

ISSF/NRA CLASS, 10 METERS, ONE HAND, IRON SIGHTS ONLY.

STEYR LP 10 COMPACT RWS HOBBY (GREEN TIN) WADCUTTER PELLETS, 7 GRAINS. 456 Total

Well dang, I didn't have any wadcutters :(

I tried to use a few different others but my holes are more little tore places instead of nice round holes.

Other than using wadcutters, any tips for getting nice round holes in your target like you fellows seem to have?

Looks like I'll have to sit this week out and try again for next friday.

Thanks

Ray

Ray,

Don't be that hard.....try to score it anyway.....for future FYI ,check out the pellet post I put on the pellet and projectile section.....Vogel has a GREAT deal on what they say are "ok" wadcutter pellets, I can attest that they are AWESOME!! I ordered 10,000 of their bulk wadcutters, and another 6000 of their Match ammo. WELL worth it!!

Thanks for the great effort getting this going. I haven't ducked out but just need to get into work to print off some targets...currently locked down here .

As a suggestion, It might be best if we just generalise down to that one big National association target. Its common across the web to print off and for those without printers can be had from Amazon....keeps things simple....just a thought...no strong argument.

See if i can get sorted for next Fri..

Steveoo,

With some classes, the larger target would be too big. As you can see, Mr Day's wonderful target above, is one of the reasons that the smaller target is needed.

Bill, that's some great shooting!!!!

This weeks results will be posted a little bit later, and a new post to put next weeks scores will be up.

Tom, you guys are doing the real pistol deal. I'm just playing around but one of these weeks I do plan to try the standing two handed position. Just getting use to the trigger pull right now before I start jumping on the trigger which I will when I stand and the target starts moving.😉 Maybe figuring out what the pistol is capable of before the human factor kicks in.

On my first target top row far right I have a shot that doesn't look like it was a 10 even to me. The largest caliber allowed in this game per the rules is .22 caliber. To be fair to those shooting .177 World Bench rest rules state they can be plugged to next higher caliber pellet plug allowed to make both calibers equal. Below is a pic of the referenced target plugged with the .22 Plug. It was not a X but because you can see the right outer rim of the X ring circle, but it did cut the line to score 10 points.

I hope this pic makes me look like I wasn't fudging my score for if I was someone who didn't understand plugging I would be scratching my head on that one.
