Webley Nemesis

I’d like to get your thoughts on the Webley Nemesis (.22). It’s a Co2 pistol with decent power (420 FPS), a rotary 12-round mag, a threaded barrel, and decent accuracy from what I’ve seen on YouTube videos. It’s a familiar design but not a “replica” of any kind. No blowback to rob power. And very reasonably priced.

Your thoughts? Does anyone here own one?

Steer clear. It is not a Webley. It’s a gamblers gun. A couple months ago a guy over on GTA just had to have one. We told him not to waste his money but he found that one good review and clung to it. He bought it anyway. Did the typical I owned it for seven minutes and brag about it review. The next day he was posting angrily. Bad mouthing PA for selling junk. If it was called a Ping Pong Nemesis, we would not be disappointed. The name Webley should not be associated with it.

Just so happens I own one, bought when they were on sale at PA already plus a $25 off code to boot, so $75 plus shipping for mine. Was also a rainy day and I had a debit card too close to hand and figured why not....lol. Nope, not a Webley but I didn't expect it would be since true Webley anything hasn't been made since something like 2005, they're either Turkish or Chinese made.

Not sure what pellets they used to get that 420 fps they claim but likely the lightest .22's they could find since mine with FTT's shoots about 330ish over my chrony. I've shot a dozen mags so far and no issues, but I bought mine after reading both sides of the reviews and figured if it did take a dump, I'd have a tinker toy so it wasn't a total loss to get one. If memory serves, I got a little over 2 mags worth of good shots before power started slowly dropping off and pushed the CO2 to the limit to see how far it would go. Around shot 35, power was down to around 200 fps and shot 48 barely cleared the barrel.

It does have a dovetail so you can mount either a pistol scope or dot sight and the opens aren't that great so something to consider should you decide to take a chance. And yep, the barrel is threaded for 1/2-20 UNF should you want to stick a moderator on it but if you do, you'll have to take it off every time you need to load a fresh CO2 unless you have one slim enough to clear the front CO2 cover. The included wrench also isn't that great and I hauled along an allen wrench the right size to make things easier. The bolt is also supposed to be interchangeable from right to left but I haven't messed with it since it's on the left and being a righty, I can keep the thing in my right hand and cycle the bolt with my left for quicker reloading.

I haven't tested the accuracy side of things with it but here's mine with LDC and a Sun Optics red dot I borrowed from another gun.

Should you buy one? Up to you, just keep an open mind if you do because yes, I fully expect I'll have issues at some point.

I owned a Nemesis for about 2 years. It's actually a pretty decent pistol for $100. As far as CO2 pistols go that are actually accurate this one was way up there for me. I was getting in the ~400 range with ~7-8gr pellets. A little heavy on CO2 use - don't expect more than 30-40 shots. Stock sights are terrible - get a handgun scope or red dot.

Threaded 1/2x20 for a moderator - nice touch.

I’ve seen a lot of mixed reviews on this pistol so I have to assume purchasing one would be hit or miss (no pun intended). I just purchased a moderator for my 2300KT so the threaded barrel is a nice touch. I agree.
