Nice groups.February 18, 2018 at 7:21 pm LinkI have a Crown and am impressed by the STX barrel. I was wondering if it would be successful on other platforms or just the Crown. It seems to work well in the Wildcat and makes me want one. Expensive addiction.

I have two side-lever PCPs, a Hatsan Bullboss (bullpup) and FX Streamline (traditional), both in 25 caliber. I have no problems shooting or working the action on either one. The bullpup design works in your favor when shooting offhanded. Since the weight is centered at or near the trigger hand, it’s not hard to support the rifle while your right hand works the lever. A traditional style, however, requires you to lose your sight picture unless the front of the rifle is supported by a rest or shooting stick. One thing: My Hatsan Bullboss has a cheek rest, this FX Wildcat does not. Watching the video, it looks like there is room for your cheek and nose to clear the magazine, but if not, I bet raising the scope a bit would solve that problem. Hope this helps! Feel free to contact me if you have any other questions related to us poor, marginalized, smarter-than-average lefties!

Could this (or many others) be used by a lefty? The mag location looks to be a problem. Uj
