Watch & Discuss the FX Wildcat Mk2 video by AEAC!

The stock is beautiful and its a upgrade over the 2nd gen(three gens total in my opinion). However it would be nice if they had a power wheel. This is my only gripe as it adds even more customizability to a value rifle.

Interestingly, my old gen one wildcat had waaayy more amazing of a trigger than my two impacts. Just shows how reliable and value you are getting for your money.

I've been a member here for a while however I haven't contributed much. I've owned many air rifles over the years but currently just own one. A Wildcat MK1 in .22. It's an amazing rifle and I can't imagine what joy I would get from the MKII with so much more refinement and power to boot! If I don't win this I may have to upgrade. Amazing job with your videos, Steve. I very much enjoy them on cool-down. Thank you to everyone that makes these giveaways possible.

Interchangeable barrels is nothing new. What is new is a manufacturer that is going to provide different twist rates to accommodate different pellets. No longer will we be relegated to use just one, or two specific pellets due to twist rate limitations. That's a major step in the right direction. Making these barrels easy to swap out is the icing on the cake.

I noticed that the new smooth-twist X barrels are cheaper than the original smooth twist barrels but just as accurate based on your tests. Interestingly, they also seem to be more accurate with some cheaper pellets compared to the original. Maybe the twist rate and/or the rifling extends throughout the barrel length makes a difference? My question also is: are they as durable as the original smooth twist barrel?
