I owned the first Edgun Matty that came out and it was a fantastic bullpup. It was easily the most accurate .22 i owned at the time or had ever shot for that matter.

It's still im my family I gave it to my brother a few years ago as his first PCP and it got him totally hooked.

I'm from Russia, Siberia to be more accurate (Norilsk) came to the US when i was 9yo. I speak fluently in English and Russian so the Edgun would be right at home with me!

I have a .25 Leshiy right now, it's my only Edgun at the time and it's such an amazing little gun.

I would absolutely be tickled pink to own this Matty and really hope i nail the RDW on the head!

Well it certainly is a beefy looking rig and hopefully it doesn't feel to beefy. It looks well and precisely manufactured and wouldn't mind calling it my rifle.

However considering it to be ambidextrous or left hand friendly I would have to say...sooo close yet sooo far. Seems it really it looks like its meant to give right-handers the option to cock it with their left hand as some seem to like to do. Watching the video Steves cheek is directly across from the magazine where it is smooth, imagine you were shooting left handed and your cheek is laying right up against that magazine.....now try cycling the gun with your cheek there, granted he was bench shooting for much of the video which tends to have a different cheek position than you would shooting offhand but still.

I recently seen an air rifle manufacturer figured out how to make it so you can load the mag from either the left or right sides... if Ed can figure out how to incorporate that into his design then he would have the ambidextrous holy grail!

As always another well crafted review video Steve!
