Watch & Discuss the Daystate Huntsman Huma Regulated PCP!!

"LaryMayotte"The biggest problem I have with any of the PCP air rifles is.....I'm on a fixed income and can't afford to buy any of them! .... Here in the union states of America trying to live on $738.00 a month doesn't leave much left for air gun shooting! .... I have all I can do to keep my only air rifle fed, and one or two perks like a new cheap scope. ..... That is why it would be nice to win a new PCP. Because winning is the ONLY way this OLD RETIRED MAN will ever get to use one. .... I have always only ever used an inaccurate low quality springier, with a terrible trigger pull, and low power inexpensive scope. (almost better to use the open sights) ........ Oh well as they say "poop happens!" ...... It would be nice to be on the clean end of the stick at least once in my lifetime .....LOL@me
Lary, where do you live? Steve

"socaloldman"A great rifle now even better. Thanks for the wonderful reviews!

Yes it is a great rifle, its so good I can't find anything I like better. I've shot FX royals, Impacts, Raws. I've not shot another .22 cal PCP that is any more accurate at 50 yards.
There are many great guns out there but they all give up something to the Regal. Looks, weight, balance, fit n finish, its very compact yet shoots as well as the guns that are 8" longer and 3 pounds heavier. It does everything well.

I own a 2013 regal. Its so good I've not found the need to get anything better. I've really not found the need to put a regulator in it. I think people wanted it but its not really a big deal and maybe a step sideways over the non regulated classic.

- I can get 45 shots only filling mine to 230 bar and my curve is very flat.
- Mine is only 6.2 pounds vs 8.2 pounds as stated in the video - Fill probe on mine is standard foster no need to have another fill probe adapter like the new one.
-My trigger guard is all metal but I think the newer ones went to plastic. -

The tube looks longer than my 162cc tube yet only holds 132 cc. So its a smaller tube but you have to fill it to 250 bar to get the same shot count I get on a 220-230 bar fill. So when my carbon fiber tank drops to 230 bar my Regal XL still gets its full shot count while the new one is going to lose some starting at 230 bar.

JSB 15.9s shoot best from mine. I get .3 to .5" at 50 yards if there is no wind. So the new one is not more accurate.

Don't get me wrong the new one is a great gun, I am not so sure its better than non regulated XL as it does give up some things. Would I like the win it? Well ya sure I would :)

"Huntmanguru"This is a very accurate air rifle the 5 poop group at 100 yards is amazing, AEAC you're awesome , love the detailed reviews, AirGun Nation also rocks , great information about the AirGun sport hobby that I love .
Super impressed with how smooth the bolt action is along with how quite it is. I shoot a Hatsan PCP now and it’s nothing like this Daystate.
