I previously owned an AA tx200 HC in a beautiful walnut stock which I had short stroked and reduced to sub 12fpe. I loved that rifle. AA makes some beautiful springers and the Prosport to me is hands down the finest looking of them all. If it shoots as good as that TX did...

I've never owned or shot a fixed barrel but I've been interested in them.... this makes a great argument for this platform...

Very pretty gun.
This would be a stunning first Springer for a PCP-only Guy. I like the concept of the fixed barrel, and would think that that would contribute to better accuracy over years of use. But that's just a thought from a guy that doesnt have any Springer experience.

Nice/clean looking rifle. Very surprised at the consistent velocity...probably a lot to do with the quality of spring.

If I could own only one air rifle, it would be this one! The incredible workmanship shows not only in the fit and finish, but where it really matters, downrange! I love it!

Classic styling and even though it may take a bit of force, I like the cock lever hidden. Adds to the astethics of the rifle. Excellent review as usual.

You didn't mis-hear... I blew that. It's an auto resetting safety and engages when you cock the rifle. Steve

Watching the video, you get the impression that the ProSport gives off a 'sproing' noise. I've never noticed that about my fairly recent TX200, so I'm gonna guess that's an illusion provided by the sound equipment. Even if the noise is bona fide...who cares? The rifle shoots like a laser!!! This is a fine, fine air gun, but would not replace my TX in my stable...however, it would be a worth addition to it! When I bought my TX, I considered the PS, but really, they are two different rifles that share the same powerplant...and for my uses, I believe that the longer rifle works better...but I wouldn't kick the ProSport off my wall for eatin' crackers!!! Good video, love seeing springers being featured, since PCP's just leave me...cold.

Wonderful rifle. Accuracy of a pcp without the air tank. Would make a great pest and small game control tool.
