That would be people of honer dealing with other people with honor as was done in airguns for a couple of decades. Along with USPS M/O only unless maybe you wanted a new Whiscombe then you need to put many $100.00 green U.S. Dollars in an envelope overseas to John and wait. Naturally no one who knew airguns and other people into airguns, no problem at all.

Also the same people who describe thing exactly and offer a 3 day inspection.

Pretty much any and all old timers still left if they know you (or a close mutual friend).

Darn nice there are still some left.

200+ sales, 2 issues which I rectified instantly, met 300+ competition (and a few strictly squirrel hunters) face to face. Same email address 20 years. Also remember most of the big fraudsters and took crap (sort of like this thread) for outing the ever so popular chris(topher) teodoro of filarms who has fanboys.

These days would I send a rifle before payment from a newbie, no (unless we new the same people). And just like so many other old timers, US postal M?O, cash or personal check held ONLY unless I know you.

"Stupid" as used darn near sounds like a slam at the OP. Just my perception I'm sure.

I'll just sign this as every post I've ever made with my actual 1st name (like everyone used to do because , well we aren't hiding).

I know nothing about the man, and would not make any accusations as to his character. I have found, in general, people who are not forthcoming with information abut themselves usually have a reason, and the reason is usually not comforting. I have also known people who are simply secretive, even elusive, either by nature, or to attract attention. In this case, in terms of direct interactions, I think I'll remain an observer rather than participant.

Has anyone else on AGN been scammed by Odoyle? Just out of curiosity. The Reason I ask is because you said he is still scamming, so I was wondering how often on here he has scammed someone out of money?

I did a search on him on this site and he has a bunch of satisfied sellers with expensive sales. Won’t be the first time the ups or the USPS screwed up. I know they showed stuff delivered that I never received.

I think we have had quite enough of this bullpoop. This is supposed to be a site for the discussion of airguns. Not a site to slam on people. Your all a bunch of trolls.

For someone who is one of the most honest people that you know on the site, there sure seems to be a lot of people with stories similar to mine. I wonder how that could be if he's truly so honest.

I posted my story here knowing that all the Odoyle fans would be jumping down my throat and rushing to defend him. But, I am more than happy to do so, because it's the truth and I have the proof. I can back up what I'm saying.

Odoyle is free to come here anytime he wants to and prove that I'm full of it. But he can't. And he wont. 

I'm still here because I have nothing to hide and he does. All we've heard so far from his defenders are stories about what a good person he is, but nothing at all to refute the facts that I put out there. 

He lied to me about receiving the scopes. Plain and simple. Take it how you want, but that's how it played out. His position changed just this last Saturday. That doesn't seem like the behavior or someone who is acting honestly. 

You think I'm still full of it? How about I circle back in a few months and let you know if I ever receive the check that was "in the mail"? At that point, will it be another excuse about his mail problems?

So did you get the Money Order or not? Was waiting to here back. 

Wow, I'm new here, sort of, and he was the first person who responded to an ad I had up a while back. It was not for a lot of money, but it was SO much more work than it was worth so I abandoned ship. Money orders, SORRY, NO WAY. 

That being said, I sold an HW97k to a fellow AGN'er today and he asked if I'll take Zelle. I said NO because YOU'RE not protected with Zelle. It is for people who know each other, not strangers. Sure, I could've taken Zelle and sent the rifle, but I wanted EVERYTHING to be safe and iinsured for BOTH parties !!!

So, I asked him to please use PayPal so we have a record of everything and he's protected. I am an honest person and HATE thieves, but that's besides the point. I didn't want Luis to then do Zelle with another person and get burned. 

Can we all just agree that it's PayPal or nothing ? We are all adults and work hard for our money. Karma is a bitch, or a gateway to happiness, depending on your actions. 

Look up "con man" or "confidence trick".

YoDoyle is the epitome of a con man and those who continue to post supporting him are either in on it with him or simply easily lead/gullible.

I have well over 100 PMs from him that would make you change your mind if you think YoDoyle is a conscientious individual. All sent in a VERY short time only because I questioned him about some of his claims. I have my doubts that *he* is an individual. Seems more like a group of con men.

BTW, I have no doubt that *YoDoyle* is still on this site under another name(s). That is YoDoyle's MO. Build confidence, then abuse that trust.

I have no doubt he is a real person, I just doubt he is working alone.

Not sure he will "be back", given his use of multiple accounts, I don't think he ever really left.
