War Flex airgun do you have 1?

Own a WarP being the little brother of the FleX

Unless someone buys WAR fron Jim Gaska I'm thinking we're pretty much SOL for factory parts now or in the future.

I service my own and fabricate what I need to keep it alive .. or modified.

No clue if anyone's going to service them outside of resealing or minor stuff ? ... good luck.

Wow that sucks so no warranty service or repair or customer service. just left the Flex owners for dead. Well Motorhead sounds like your the man now!

Hello to those aren't familiar with me. Hi Motorhead. With WAR recent development, I've been asked by Jim to take on his barrel operations. I would have liked to take the whole operation but having just purchased my own 4axis cnc and other equipment, didnt have the necessary liquidity. For barrel inquiry my email is [email protected]. website coming soon. As far as I know, Jim is still looking for someone to take wicked air rifles.

Congratulations on taking on the Wicked Air barrels.

Personally I still think the design is still a great platform and accurate gun.

Wish I was able to take over production.

The Flex was good gun but the issues really were not the gun. I attribute IMO what

was growing pains plus other issues.

Both Jim and Travis took care of my needs. My only problem was my 308 conversion that I never could get all the correct parts and info at that time. Converting the Gen 1 was much different build vs the current builds.

I got close but never got the power I wanted. Gave up and sold the gun. The new owner sent it back to Travis to go over.

Seems I was really close on the build due to re worked gun came back to the new owner shooting slower than my build. Accuracy was always there with both builds.

Now this was at the time of the Jim & Travis split.

I've been asked if I would buy another? My answer is yes. O rings are out there and other parts. Very workable gun IMO. TJ barrels were always good. Marauder on steroids I always said. I'd have no issue working another one. Being in Central. Arkansas I'm close to many for shipping cost savings.

All JMO💀

I have a W.A.R Flex 357, Cobra regulated, DonnyFL Emperor V1. Currently regulated at 2700psi, shooting 97.5gr Morrill Diabolo pellets at 860fps for about 160fpe. From a 4500psi fill, i shoot down to 2500psi for about 25-30 shots, depending on ammo type . The 24 inch unchoked TJ barrel shoots both slugs and pellets equally well. At current 2700psi reg setting, i can switch between 81gr polymags at 930fps, or 81gr JSB at 930fps, or 120gr NSA slugs at 820fps, or the 97.5 gr Rick Morrill diabolo pellet at 860fps with a 0.075 bc.

Just today, i took the whole rifle apart and replaced all the o-rings and serviced the Cothran valve. Put everything back together and POI was almost exactly unchanged, shooting at exactly the same power settings. 2 shots to zero and done.

Compared to my FX Impact, servicing the Flex is a breeze for a rifle that shoots at well over twice the power of my next most powerful PCP rifle.

Sounds like you have a monster on your hands I would love to check out some photos if you care to oblige

I haven't had the opportunity to shoot the FX impact. I have 2 barrels on the bench right now, about to get made into slug slingers. Both are .22. There is a lot more work going into these than other barrels. I'd like to ask, is the brass piece necessary? Why couldn't it just be integral to the barrel? I've watched videos and looked at disassembly pics but do t quite get why the brass is needed.

Bill, No it really isn't. All you loose is indexing ability by not using one. Both Hobbyman2007 and I have tried both ways. He made the thimble for my first project. I ended up going with a liner, with a steel tube over it, it to take up the space in the receiver, and setting the entire system in thick walled CF Tubing. It shoots lights out. Set up is no different than installing any other barrel. ;<)

So, if I were to make the barrel so that it appears to have the brass piece, just all integrated, would you still have the ability to index. The barrel I've done is 14mm and had to be turned to 13.64mm to fit. The stainless piece is now the breach end of the barrel and the brass attaches to that. I'd like to go ahead and make one that has no "pieces". Just a drop in barrel with threaded muzzle. If I were doing it for myself, I'd CF it to increase rigidity.

I have one I rarely shoot , it has the cothran valve and cobra regulator on it . I traded it for another air rifle a couple years ago and it just sits in my closet. I’d like to rehome it , it has two factory magazines and a nice aftermarket one also , but to answer your question Brian with Veraduim Air can hook you up with service and parts for them . They’re crazy accurate Airguns I m just not in to .30 cal . I’m a big game hunter and this Airgun falls short of our state laws on power .
