Vulcan stock

Ok, this might have been asked before but I cant find it. Did anyone that owns a Vulcan get that gorgeous Walnut stock that is in all the ad pictures. All I see is a plain light colored stock. Id drop $1600 on beauty like that. Not only performance but a damn sexy stock to boot. I'm deciding between several bullpups at the moment, but there would be no deciding if that was the stock that came with it. But on the other hand, I'd be afraid to scratch it :(

@yenniedn One question.
Where can I get such a silencer?
Ken, it's not a silencer. It collects the dust that is expelled when you shoot these rifles; it ensures that we don't all get lead poisoning and can enjoy many years of shooting. ;)

That said, you can get these Lead Dust Collectors from DonnyFL, who post on a couple of different forums although I'm not sure if he's on AGN. You'll notice that I have two different versions from him - one normal length and a shorter version. Obviously the longer one collects dust better but the shorter one suffices when I don't need as much lead dust collected. Donny does really good work, is great to deal with, and these are very effective for their intended task.

BTW, he also made the replacement carbon fiber shroud you see on the rifle to match the LDC - but only made a handful of those and won't be making any more due to the amount of work involved in making those. But the LDC's are always available and he can turn them around pretty quickly. If you can't find him on these other forums, let me know in PM and I can shoot you his contact info.

For the love of Pete, you can openly discuss silencers on this forum! Hahahaha...

"nvelkhunter"I want one, however with a black synthetic stock. Bullpup's with black uppers and stain wood lowers just doesn't "flow" for me. Not sure why a traditional long gun black and stained combo is ok and not for bullpup, but what can I say?
Oh, and I'd like to save about a $150 over Walnut versus synthetic.
Same here :) Synthetic stock was one strange (and probably the only one true) reason why Wildcat won over the Vulcan when I was deciding on what to bust my hard-earned.. Too bad FX decided to extend the lenght of the shroud on .22, I liked the short version with the abillity to add sections in the early version. Shroud overextending over the stock by too much partially kills the idea of a bullpup in my opinnion... Damn, I need to stop it, looks like I am starting to want Vulcan, even with a wooden stock, as those posted above look really good :)

I don't know what you're talking about, Ted. My primary concern is that there is less lead dust to vacuum in my house after shooting sessions. What the rest of you guys do with these LDCs is entirely up to you; I just want to keep my house tidy.

Drunk, You should not worry so much about the wood stock but where this gun is made. This is a second rifle in question that reportedly uses China/Taiwan made parts. At least with FX you know where it is made. My biggest issue with these newcomer rifles is the prices they are asking for them. Pushing $1700 mark that is almost Daystate MK4 price territory. That is the main reason why I am on the the fence about buying this gun.

But based on all the research I have done on the Vulcan it seems to be a well made rifle. Why there is no checkering on the pistol grip beats me :)
