This isn't a sales pitch. I get nothing from this. However, I haven't found anything better, or more handy, to quickly adjust fps for changing pellet selection in the field. I felt it is worth sharing with Vulcan owners.
My base pellet is the JSB 25 gr, but I shoot a heavier pellet/slug when pesting. Using my chrony, my HST is set for 880 fps for the 25 gr pellet, I tested how many turns clockwise it takes to shoot a 32 gr Ratsniper hollowpoint at that same speed. Now I know how many turns clockwise/counter-clockwise, from my base setting, it takes to adjust velocity up or back down for the specific pellet/slug I'm shooting at that particular moment. It gives me the flexibility I desire to quickly change from target to hunting in the field. I keep mine in my pocket, but I'm thinking a neck chain might be handier...
