For the first time since new, I pulled the barrel from my Vulcan Gen 4 .25. The barrel came out without even loosen the tiny screw on top receiver near breech. I did take that tiny screw out, but it is only 6.20 mm long. From top of receiver to indent in barrel it is about 7.80 mm. There is a small countersink in top of receiver, but not enough for this screw to reach the indent to hold barrel. Is my rifle missing a set screw that was suppose to be under the screw I took out? Or did they put too short a screw in? The two clamps kept the barrel in place, but this seems screwy to me. How is yours? 
 
Hi nutcracker, I took my barrel off a few months ago to replace a blown breech seal and I did not have a set screw for the barrel. Just the top screw that would not not lock the barrel in. While doing this I twisted the revolving bolt that holds the cocking lever and I couldn’t get it back together that it would shoot. I must have tried a dozen times and finally gave up and had to take it into the dealer. Hope you have better luck than me. They fixed it but what a pain trying to get the barrel to line up correctly.

Mvonbeamer, This is interesting. Maybe they just don't lock them in place at the breech. Actually all I was going to do was take the airtube off , then I happened to notice the barrel moving, I could not believe it was not locked in place at the breech. So do you know if they put the barrel back on w/o a breech barrel set screw? Thanks for replying, & thanks for wishing me better luck, Nutcracker
