Not interested in the Wildcat. Is the Cricket the same weight as the Vulcan? I see many happy Cricket owners on line, but I like that mid mount side lever feature on the Vulcan.

First one has to realize that there is no such item as the perfect rifle. You have to determine which features are most important for your particular usage.
the Cricket is a proven platform, accurate barrel, finicky magazine system, no safety, quite heavy in it,s present configuration with the extra mag holders.
the Vulcan shares the same barrel, has the cocking lever moved towards the middle on the left side, has a better mag system, is lighter but has experienced some issues.
theWildcat uses the FX. Smooth Twist barrel which has proven to be accurate, is lighter, has a simpler mag system but has experienced some teething problems.
