Vulcan .25 a little crazy at first

I shot it over the chrony today and I was a bit worried why the gun only shot 29 at 250 bar and averaged velocity of 918fps that is weak for having the gun set at 150bar. I screwed in the hammer spring and chrony it over again and I had the same result. I decided to dry fired the gun down to 90 bar. I filled it back up to 250bar and chrony it again and without adjusting the hammer spring I got 38 shot with a hi 928 lo 917 av 922 es 11 and sd 2. I refilled the gun back to 240 bar and confirmed it and the velocity did not change. I'll wait a couple of months from now when the gun age a little more to set the regulator to 130bar and slow the pellet down to 900 fps so I can get more shots. I had a cricket .25 but I sold it so I can get this one. To compare the two the Vulcan in my opinion is better. The vulcan is way shorter and has enough power but it can't match the power of the cricket and shot count. Vulcan is lighter and easier to shoulder. One thing I really like is the side lever and how you can lock into position so you can load another mag. In the accuracy department they are about the same. Overall I'm very satisfied with this new Vulcan.

"militaryflip"the cricket is a little quieter but both still loud. i also got the 22 wildcat ready for tomorrows testing. im planning on keeping these gun for two years then sell it again…im planning on getting the fx impact back but im going to wait until they fix all those problem. the impact is still on top with all of its features.
Yeah I feel ya, I too plan on picking up a Impact in about a year. I see my cabinet looking like: Cricket .22, Air Arms s510 .22, Vulcan Tactic .25, and an FX impact .177, .22, and .25 :)
