The 18 grain JSB dropped this hog like a stone.  We ended up getting 6 last night.

Whow, straight in the nugget, nice and clean behind it’s ear, and it dropped like a stone! You got six no less, stocking up your freezer for the winter? ;)

    What range was this?

Very nice, it’s a great gun for hunting, packs a nice punch for such a tiny rifle. .22 Vulcan bullpup for the win!

Yeah, we got a lot of great meat from these little ones!

This was from about 25 yards.

Had them caught in a panel trap? Great placement of the shot.

That hog didn’t even know what hit it. Perfect shot!

I’m curious about the situation there. It seems like they were in a pen. Were you just slaughtering some that you raised or had they invaded the pen somehow?

But yeah, perfect shot placement, right in the microprocessor.

Yes, they are in a trap.  I was slaughtering them for removal and processing.

The pigs have caused a great deal of damage on our property, and eliminating them is extremely gratifying

Nice shot! Right where it needs to be!

But are you sure that’s a wild hog? not a feral hog? For food, all the regular meat from nature (boar, deer etc) tastes better than anything you can buy in a supermarket or butchery. Especially easy when they are in the numbers that they need to be exterminated, infinite meat supply (until exterminated)  :)

What part of the south you in?? Southern Georgia has alot of pigs that need removing. Alot of land owners will be glad to let you hunt them as long as you dont abuse the rules they have.

I’ve seen wild hogs in a couple different colors. We have a ton of them down around Dayton. Varmints with no limit or season. C’mon & fill yer pick ups! But trapping them like that is pretty common down south to make it easier to slaughter a crap ton of’em…

Pulled pork is soo good! And you can do it in a lot of different ways, with coca-cola, or dr Pepper, or beer or wine

Yep, with beer and BBQ marinade is also very tasty! Best with freshly hunted wild pork. Man, I’m drooling here.
