Vulcan .22 Smooth Twist Ernest rowe installed

Yeah I'm all about the smooth twist I love it. I find the more I shoot it the more consistent it gets. When I do clean it it'll take 50 to 100 shots to get it shooting good again. I just shoot it and don't clean it anymore.

Nice and smooth flights. Looks like you've got something on your scope or camera though.

Nothing better than seeing the perfect pellet flight. But yeah I just realized that I'll clean my scope glass tomorrow. I don't know how I didn't catch that lol

Please don't take this the wrong way, as I am a fan of the ST and the stock vulcan. so I am just wondering why you would want to install a ST on a vulcan? Sounds and looks like it's a good fit but I'm just wondering the "why" part. Hoping to get an ah ha moment here. Enjoy what might be the first of a growing trend?

I agree. My Cricket has the CZ barrel and I would really need to work hard to get my WildCat to equal its accuracy. I've taken game at 100 yards with both guns equally well but seems like your looking for an improvement where one does not exist. Basically a technical draw so what 9s the point?

One day I was removing shroud from my stock berral and it was stuck on my gun tried everything to get it off. Finally I removed end cap stuck 2 medal rods down it by doing this I could stop the threads from spinning. If you have a Vulcan you'd know what I mean but yeah one of my medal rods went down the berral and I didn't know it. This scratched and gouged my berral out so I sent to Ernest and there was no possible fix. Then he installed .22 Smooth Twist the berral is far more accurate than my CZ berral much easier to take care of too.

None of the good barrel brands are better than the rest. LW, CZ, SR, TJ, BSA etc all have a spectrum of accuracy. The best examples of each of them are excellent and you will also find ones that are below average with every brand.
Some of it is to do with how well it is machined and fitted to the action and how well the gun is tuned for the barrel, pellet, speed, reg setting etc.
As the barrel was machined and fitted by Ernest in this case, it's no surprise that there was a noticeable increase in accuracy.

I'm so happy with this berral that I'm going all smooth twist from here on out. I'm sticking with fx guns prolly won't buy another brand ever. I'll have my impact in Tuesday I can't wait to start shooting it!!
