I would like to buy either a Vulcan 0.25 or Impact 0.25 but cannot afford to buy both - would like to do a lot of offhand shooting with this gun - for those who have handled both guns what are your thoughts?

The impact had more features
vulcan only 4 ---being shorter and slightly smooth trigger--cheaper mags ----- easier to fill
1. the impact has butter smooth cocking action, Vulcan rough and harder to pull.
2. 16 shot mag vice 9
3. No ping / hammer impact / spring noise, Vulcan have all 3
4, 7 power setting ----Vulcan none
5. External valve stem adjustment --- Vulcan none
6. Impact more power and shot count----Vulcan less
7, impact weight less
8, multi barrel ---none
9, adjustable butt pad.
10. External Adjustable reg---none
11. Impact Better safety

Still cant beat vulcan in accuracy .... cocking is smooth anyways

And don't forget, when available the Impact can change barrels for different calibers.

Don't forget availability, you can order a Vulcan right now and get it maybe in a week, the Impact will take at least half a year. I placed my order back on November, I got a call on Thursday from AOA saying my .30cal is here.
they will keep the gun a few days to test it for leaks and other things. Hopefully itll be here next weekend.

Do find the cocking quite rough, but you don't have leverage like you do on the cricket or FX impact

Definately can't sniff at Evgeny's customer service.
Got to be one of the most compact .25's too. The new one makes it feel bigger with the adjustable butt pad & chunkier forend though.
