Here is the thing - I bought Vortex Viper PST gen2 2-10x32 and it appears that the parallax markings does not match reality. I set target to 20y but I must set parallax to 30y to have a sharp image. lt looks like it focuses down to 10y instead 20y. I asked the store where I bought it and it appeared that other scopes have the same issue. Just don't know what to do. Does anyone had similar problem?
 
Leon63 What you are finding is normal. The scope makers all tell you that it is a guide and You need to determine the actual focus ranges. It really is not an issue if you are not using the scope to range but are just focusing to adjust parallax for hunting.

If on the other hand you are using it to range then you need to mark out the ranges in something like 5 meter increments and then make a tape on marker sheet for your specific scope. Go on several websites and look at what the match shooter do. Google is your friend... Have fun and don't fret over this.
