Looking for a scope for my .30 Impact and can’t decide between the Vortex Viper and the Razor. Obviously a huge price difference between them so looking to see what fellow airgunners recommend. This gun is used primarily for 50-150 yard pesting and target shooting. I just don’t want to regret getting the Viper when I hear the Razor is better in most aspects. Thanks for the help!

Most of the time this will be a long range setup laying prone, so I’m not too concerned about weight. Not all the much walking and stalking. Unless of course the weight makes the impact super top heavy which I’m a little worried about. All I’ve had on the impact so far is a swfa 10x so not sure how a huge scope will be.

Take a look at the Vortex Razor HD LH 3-15x42. Very lightweight, great reticle. super clear glass... List is $1,100 but can get 40% off through Expert Voice if qualified (military, retired military, police or firefighter or first responder). I've had one for over two years and its the best scope I own...

Thanks for the input, guys. I think I might get the Vortex Razor HD LH 3-15×42 for my .25 Veteran when it goes on sale the next time, it really does look like a great lightweight scope. The SFP would be perfect on that magnification for me since I probably wouldn’t use holds or dial without being at 15x anyway.
I might want to try benchrest in the future or at least shoot 100 yard groups so wondering if 15x would be enough?

I have the original 5-20x50mm Razor HD and it’s an awesome scope too. I got my used for $900, I think you can find them new for around $1500-$1600, cheaper if on sale. Definitely worth checking out for a benchrest scope when you’re ready.

I just got the NF ATACR 7-35, same as Matt Dubber uses, it's unbelievable, better than my March, Delta etc. by a mile, take a look at one before you buy anything.

Yes, 15x is plenty for shooting groups at 100yds.
You won't regret spending high dollar on a nice scope.

Took the plunge and ordered the Razor. Buy once cry once haha. It’s definitely going to be massive on the impact but should be pretty sweet. I will post pics when I get it next Friday
