Vk slugs vs nelsen slugs out of slugs liner .25

I dont want to spend much money of different kind of slugs to see which one is more accurate. I just want to buy one type (most accurate) and stick to that type only. So which are better for accuracy. Fk slugs or nelsen slugs? Never shot either. Will be purchasing fx impact 25 cal slugs liner. Distance will be 100 yards to 200 yards. Also how fast would I need to push them slugs to get best accuracy? Thanks

I think you mean VK and NSA slugs? I have shot them both from my 700mm .25 slug barrel/liner. The NSA slugs are slightly more consistent in weight so should be slightly more accurate but I have not proven that as both have shot many sub MOA groups at 740fps and again at over 900fps and 100 yards. Then of course I sorted them by weight so that took away any NSA advantage. It took me hundreds of shots to get them dialed in but now they shoot mostly sub MOA and MOA groups with a slight breeze or no wind at all. I have read that the VK's do more damage probly cuz of the larger HP cavity but I can not as yet prove this. Have only shot the VK 34gr HP slugs, weighed and sorted, they are comparable to the NSA 36gr for accuracy. The NSA 36gr seem to shoot slightly better than the 33.5.

Three three shot NSA groups and one sighter with 36gr slugs not much wind. Shot three shots but could not see them from where I was so I tweaked the elevation on my scope and shot three more. ;^) Clover leaf on the bottom group.

Three shot VK group next to no wind.

These are some of the best groups but several others were not far behind them.
