vivor compressor

so i bought what i thought was a yong heng compressor of fleabay. and after the shipping debackle it finally arrives. i set it up connect all air filters and water pumps then start it up with my hatsan air cylinder attatched, close the pressure relief valves and in 15 seconds it blows the rupture over pressure disk. so i tried a second, and third time. same results.anyone have any experience with these little monsters

Lots of clones that looks like the yong heng. Ppl assume it's all yong heng and just buy it without doing some research. The real yong heng is much better than these clones aka vector/tuxing or whatever they are called. Get the real yong heng. They all work, but the real yong heng is better. If it's just the rupture disc blowing. It means you go too far. These disc are rated 4500 psi. But sometimes they blow when it gets to 4300 psi. Either stack 2 dics together or dont fill it all the way to 4500 psi. Many ppl have good results just filling to 4300 psi. Or even 4000 psi. There are also 7k disc that you can use.

You did not give us much information. What is the pressure on the gauge when it blows the disc? Should be near 4500psi give or take a few hundred. If not the disc may be the problem if yes you could have over tightened the drain valve and caused damage to the Delrin seal inside blocking the output air. It could be the valve in the high pressure block, under the high pressure line that is attached towards the bottom of the block, is stuck or plugged. Otherwise the tank valve is not opening or there is something in between the tank and the compressor that will not allow air to flow.

IME, truly doubt 3 disc were defective,,, highly unlikely. Whats more likely is something is wrong with your setup. Valves, connectors, hose, etc... Something is not set up correctly and the disc blow to protect you from rupturing components...imo do not put in 2 disc or a 7k disc.
Thats like having a 30 amp fuse blow in your fuse box and replacing it with a 50 amp, NG imo.

A few pictures of your exact setup might help us figure out what is wrong...

Same problem I had with it. Went thru all of the supplied burst disks. Bought more from china and they did the same thing. Would burst anywhere between 2700 and 4000 psi.I ended up doubling up the disk and haven't had a problem since. Yes, you have to watch the pressure like a hawk but it solved the problem. I looked at the disks the other day and they are bulging but haven't let go but I only fill my Liberty to 4000 psi max.

I really wish people would read the post it blows the disk within 10 seconds of plugging it in

I put in the post it was connected to my hatsan air cylinder from my rifle the only thing I didn't say was yes it was close to 4500 when it ruptured a disk

Thank you very much for actually reading my post something most people do not do and giving me a solution

Thanks for the tip. I started the compressor last night with all valves open and systematically checked each and every part to make sure air was flowing through which it was. So I shut it down put 2 disks in like you had said and it worked like a charm I do understand that I will have to watch the pressure gauge that's a given.
