First look at the HW110

Interesting. I spoke with a manufacture last year about using polymer for receivers & such so it will be very interesting to see how HW's attempt works out, modern times indeed. True ambi stock seems a good idea ( along with user swappable cocking and the ambi safety) looks like they kept the 10% in mind. Not at all sold on "soft touch" stocks but likely they have improved over the years - once upon a time they seemed to dissolve or such esp. if the wrong chemical ever got near it. And many will like the rail.
Seems like they really designed a new rig instead of just putting a new stock on something. Wonder how long until they arev seen in the daylight?

As a HW100 owner i must admit this look a bit "cheap".

Polymer action/rail and non-removeable cylinder, that will be fun to play around with when it gets a leak, cant wait for the first reports of "cracked this and that", "stripped the threads, now what".
Polymer stock, fine if you use it exclusively as a tool and dont want to worry about it, my FX dove eliminator has a plastic stock. Safety switches look like pot metal. If aluminum, would a polish or anodize have killed the price ?. And finally a match grade trigger with blade made of plastic in 2016 , c´mon weihrauch.

Above is just my thoughts, no hate towards Weihrauch. I love my hw100 and i think they make the best springers. HW110 may turn out to be the best thing ever and the polymeraction indestructable, but im not making room in the safe for one.

"crosman2016"Well, it's more than I got...I know that ain't saying much, but I would have no problems owning one. Polymer seems to be replacing metal all the time now, and not just in airguns. At least the checkering looks good on the stock.
Like i said in my post, it may turn out to be a beast and if you like it you should get it. Its still 2 months out i believe, so still have some time to save up =)

The stock looks fine and will prob be pretty sturdy but thats the easy part on a rifle. Im not convinced polymer actions are the way to go yet. I would still personally go for a used hw100 over this if money was an issue untill proven otherwise.

But its hard to say since the video in first post is the only one out there.

Well, well HW finally do some innovative design !

You guys should relax about the use of Polymers in 'guns' - they can be formed to an extremely high level of precision. (perhaps better that that achieved by a machinist).

Most modern military 'guns' use polymers extensively eg: Glock.

The one area where modern designs like these cannot 'compete' is Blueing or high gloss finishes,

which is perhaps something we should consign to the past, maybe?
