what speeds are you getting with the pellet heavies and the vk?

My crown maxes out shooting the heavies at 890. Which puts my neilsen 36 grainers at 840.



Ive been thinking of trying the lighter vk to get over 900 if it will do it.

Great shot 97 yards! I’m gonna get me some VK & RS .25’s In 31.9-40 grain for way EDGUN is set. 112 bar on 3600 psi fill yields 56 shots at 900 FPS w/ JSB 34.95 MKII’s. I may have to increase hammer throw, tension, up the reg a little but ideally I want it set where it’ll do well with both so willing to stay with the 31.9 RBT Rat Snipers. 950 FPS x’s 2 grain weight = ftlbs. 63.8/63.94 if I up it or settle for I’m guesstimating 51-57 at 850-900. 

The Supermagnum will be here tomorrow. FX no limit rings on way. Saving for a Bushnell Engage, SWFA, maybe a Sightron from C.F. @ GA but I have to see that reticle. Heck I might just settle on another Airmax with AMX reticle but the MOA Deploy on Bushnell is second best to SWFA mil quad. Dam shame it’s not offered on all the $299 models.

That is a nasty exit wound!!

HP slugs wreck small birds too. The starling lost his lower half and the other birds each lost a wing from the exit wound.

Are you shooting with a slug liner or the STX barrel in your Crown .

I have a motrin allergy now bc of that desert silver. I was a combat medic for nine years, possible i overmedicated myself lol. . Luckily there is naproxin!
