Value of lifetime guarantee on Aztec scopes?

I'm saying I have a problem with my scope and I have called twice, sat on hold for twenty minutes only to be sent to voicemail that promises a call back, but they don't. I've also tried their contact form on Aztecoptics dot com but get no reply. Unacceptable after promising a lifetime warranty. I had poor service from AoA several years ago, but I hoped they had gotten their customer service act together by now...they haven't.

Update:

We apologize that returning your message from today did not happen more quickly, but it was not forgotten or ignored as we work through all messages before closing each day. We were not your retailer for purchase of the scope, but our sister company does warranty Aztec scopes, and we are more than happy to get your issue resolved. We trust from our conversation that you are now satisfied with our service and apologize again for the inconvenience and delay.

We are sorry to hear that you are encountering an issue with your scope. Your post does not identify what the problem is exactly. We currently do not show any pending issues in our system with an Aztec scope, and we do not require anyone to leave a voicemail. Our sales and service staff are on the phones daily during business hours, or you can request a callback rather than holding for a representative. Any issue that you may or may not be having with your scope can also be emailed through Aztec's online form or directly to [email protected]. You are also more than welcome to email us directly at [email protected] or call 480-461-1113. We will be more than happy to assist with any concerns.

I was contacted and have changed my original post. Thank you

I feel compelled to share my experiences with AOA as resulting in nothing but the highest integrity and phenomenal attention to their customers. I have not had a single issue with anything I have purchased from AOA and they have always called me back on the same day after leaving a request to call back. Furthermore, I had an issue with an Omega Super Charger compressor that came from another dealer, with Rich at AOA promptly provided me with the info I needed to move toward full resolution. I am convinced that they not only fully stand behind what they sell, but that they are genuinely interested in building the sport we all love so much.

We are fortunate to have a host of terrific air gun related equipment and accessory providers, most of which are sponsors of this forum that are extremely reputable and that deserve our respect. Without them, we would all be partaking in some other hobby.

I have that scope. It rocks. Also did that aoa post say you called today left a message and you make an angry rant questioning thier service before even the same workday was up. If im mistaken im sorry but if im not I would like to point out that lots of people here just see the topics and read the first post and move on. Hopefully you didn't cause anyone that was on the fence about an aztec or from purchasing from aoa in general because you got mad about something that sounds like a miscommunication on your part. Aoa is a great company and I hate to see them take a hit because of this. Anyway id like to point out that aoa always calls me back and thier tech dept helped me with something I didn't even buy from them. These forums are here to burn bad companies and lift up good ones and its a huge responsibility to use them wisely. Rant complete maybe wait 8 hours before rageing next time.

I agree, sometimes its better to be a little patient, you didn’t say what is wrong with your scope. Would be nice to know what “failed”. For me this scope has been kick ass, the reticle is deadly, uncluttered and actually useful quickly in the field. I chuckle every time I make long range hits with it. A little known gem.
