UTG Rings Question

Recently acquired a set of UTG Accushot rings for my TX200. The specs on the box say “Torque Value: 35 in-lb”. It doesn’t say for what application but that seems a bit much for the size screws supplied? These are, after all, aluminum. Any thoughts or advice?

Probably for the rail bolt. I'd stick with 15-20in lbs on the ring screws if I were you though!

That sounds like good advice. I usually use 18 in-lb for other applications.

That makes more sense. After looking at the box more closely, it does differentiate the top screws and the side plate. Totally miss read that. Luckily I didn’t over tighten, Whew!
