UTG Leapers Reticle correction?

Is it even possible to correct a reticle that is ever so slightly out of alignment? I have a nice inexpensive scope that stays true but just noticed the recticle is actually rotated maybe 1-2 degrees CW if I align the SF Wheel in a true vertical position. I know this has always been the case with the scope but only now became obvious when I mounted the wheel on the scope and noticed the tilt. At the end of the day I would certainly be able to live with the defect and to deflect the ribbing from the old timers I could spin a yarn about how it's by design to improve on the scopes ergonomics :p

Thanks for any useful input and ofc any lack of input telling me I should have paid more.

From what I understand it is possible to mount a scope in such a way that your vertical cross hair line is perfectly vertically aligned. This way you can use markings on the reticle for hold over at various distances. Just hang a plumb line at the distance, make sure your rifle is positioned level and align vertical cross hair with plumb line by rotating your scope in the rings.

I don't believe it is possible to correct misaligned reticle.
