UTG Big Bore Full Stability bipod

Doing alittle research lately I came across this bipod. Surprised I've never heard of it before. Has all features most like like pan, cant both with adjustable tension, 45* and 90* settings and very heavy duty. Being only around $150 figured I'd try it as a "budget" accutac style. Gotta say it doesn't disappoint! The ski feet have serrated teeth on the bottom and also turn 360* and swivel so you can get them flat to the surface on any position. Very happy with it and man is it a solid stable bipod. Was designed for use with .50 BMG and can see that for sure. If your looking for a heavy duty bipod definitely check it out!!

The name is the title of the post. It's a UTG Big Bore Full Stability bipod. That's the name of the bipod. And compared to the UTG Recon really no comparison a much better bipod. But it is heavy weighing in at about 2lbs. But the Accu Tacs I wanted were in the same weight range and about $400.

And by all means not meaning to knock Accu-Tac down! Amazing bipods very heavy duty. But can't imagine spending $400 for a bipod but that's just me.

And yes Matt we have tons of smoke from the wildfires here! As thick as a pretty foggy day here. Crazy thing is were a couple hours from the nearest fire!

I have one too! This bipod is massive in size and a bit heavy side. Mount it under my Texan .50 cal. This is the best i ever try for my Texan and perfect match. I have another from amazon with longer pic mount and wide legs but not stable due to plastic legs aren't sturdy but cheap in price. People who want it be patient for holiday season year end sale. I got mine on last July 4th sale. Shopping around for best price you'll love it.

Those other less expensive bipods compare, in that they are also bipods. Otherwise the Accu Tacs far outclass them. Yes they are pricey, but so are those PCPs we shoot. I purchased two of the cheaper UTGs they served well and continue to, but they don’t compare at all. By once cry once.

And while that's a way to think of it also they are just bipods. If I can have a $150 bipod that's as heavy built and has all the features I want and need why buy a $400 one? And the cheaper UTGs have nothing in comparison to what this bipod is. It's leaps and bounds ahead of those. And again not knocking on Accu-Tac being high quality or worth the money, but for some of us who want a cheaper alternative this is definitely the way to go.

Very confussed

Seems they're being discontinued, as to one of the retail sites, other sites say unavailable, yet available on other sites.

Copy and paste:

PRODUCT DISCONTINUED BY MANUFACTURER

Leapers UTG Pro Big Bore Full Stability Bipod has been discontinued by Leapers and is no longer available.

Personally not for my application as this bipod is much to heavy at 34 oz. Thanks for sharing.

Cheers

Edit: I decided to take a look at Leapers (UTG) website to see whats available with regards to bipods and behold, the bipod being mentioned here " UTG Big Bore Full Stability bipod" shows as NEW item! So i don't know whats going on here, as optics planet lists them as being discontinued.
