Today I just received my FX Angled Manometer Bracket from Europe. Then found out Utah Airgun has it in stock now.

Of all the guys to put up on a video tutorial, mr ripp off artist himself, BUCKNMOOSEE. He’s not well liked in these parts.

Oh, better worded, of all the guys to have done this video, mr. ripp off himself.... these parts.

Not your fault, Jerrymail, as you didn’t know of his history here on AGN. Thanks for letting all know of the product, regardless.

I received mine 2 weeks ago from SPAW... Installed it, used it one afternoon, and took it right back off.

IMO the gauge is way too close to the cocking lever if you have the cocking lever on the right side-- I caught my fingers on it several times while shooting in odd positions while hunting. The squirrels were happy with my fumbles on the cocking lever as it gave them time to get away... Lol!

For purely slow shooting off the bench I could live with the side gauge mount, but at least for me it's an obstacle during hunting use where you might be shooting in odd positions... I'm sure I could get used to it and work around it, but there's no getting away from the fact the cocking handle gets very close to the gauge near the end of the stroke and is right in the way of the typical way I manipulate the cocking handle.

Your mileage may vary though.

Regardless, it's nice to see some of these M3 accessories making it out to dealers even if they are several months later than expected.

I installed mine and took it off. I couldn't get it to stop leaking. I used the orings and it seemed like it was okay, but an hour later I lost 45 bar. It looks nice but I just didn't want to deal with a leak or trying to figure it out.

I did try cocking and it is definitely in the way and will catch your hand. Would be nice for the bench or if you are taking your time but if your hunting might not be the best placement.

While I was writing this I did just think I could change the cocking handle to the left side if I just had to have it on my rifle but I'm not. Might be an option for others though.

I like mine and have adjusted to the pinch point on the action, but I too have been chasing a slow leak. Mine is leaking from under the relocated gauge, seems reusing the gauge gasket didn’t work and the kit only came with one new gasket and I used that under the original gauge location plug. On the bright side, FX is sending me a new gasket for under the gauge. It is very nice when shooting to see the gauge and know when your air supply drops below the reg.

That was were the leak was for me as well. I just didn't want to keep trying to figure it out. It looks great in that position but once the leak was going I really gave up. I could have probably changed my cocking action but the slow leak made me give up. I might try again at a later date but as for now it will just rest up until the cold of winter...

Regarding the leaks, FX really should have included 2 new x rings with the angled mount instead of just one since you have to disturb the original x ring under the original gauge location. That way you can use a fresh x ring on the rear plug and a fresh x ring under the gauge on the angle mount.

It's a 3.63 x 2.62 mm x ring under the gauge if you want to order spares, they're cheap from an o ring supplier. I generally change them any time I remove a gauge so I'm not having to chase leaks.

I was moving my gauges around and found the factory 2nd reg gauge would not screw in far enough to engage the seal inside the hole on the angled bracket. Upon closer inspection, I sound some sort of rock hard clear sealant on the threads for that gauge. So hard that I have given up trying to clean it off even after using steel picks to try and chip it out. It seems that the threads on angled bracket are deeper than the stock location.

I wonder if this was part of your problem getting a good gauge seal? Also wondering about why this sealant is there to start with if the seal is supposed to be achieved via the x-ring at the bottom of the hole. Maybe the factory tries to get both gauge orientation and seal with just the x-ring, then if that doesn't work out, apply sealant and re-install gauge to correct orientation?
