USPS---No wonder they're broke

Bandg- you are correct. In some location USPS might be the best way to go and others it might be UPS. As of right now when I ship something I just crossed my fingers and hope for the best.

Carl--sometimes you don't have a choice as far as shipping. I have suppliers that only use USPS. Their reasoning once it's in the system it is lost and less chance for thievery. When given a choice all of delivery systems unfortunately USPS is my last.

You're right Carl. I dont have to buy from a vendor that only ships USPS. Take for instance I'm going to buy pellets. Amazon's prices are pretty high where as AOA's prices are 1/2 . Where am I going to purchase them from, AOA of course. Doesn't matter to me how they ship them as long as they get here. And as far as gang members working for UPS or any one else, who cares as long as they are satisfactorily doing their job. I've worked people that had swastikas tattooed on their neck and forehead. They did their job and did it very well.

I knew from the very start I would not receive my package in 2 days. I even stated that in my 3rd sentence when I put this topic out there. I didn't start this topic to rant and rave on about something we all have and will continue to experience. I wanted to give you all something to talk about other than the virus, Biden, Trump, etc. We get enough away from here. Everyone got to tell their observations, to stray off topic. It really doesn't matter...

OK, just ordered from P.A. it will be an oversize package. Used UPS ground as preferred shipping method. Says it will be here tomorrow 12-17. I am 4.5 hours away from them and 7 hours away from where my USPS 2nd day air pkg was shipped from.

Bet you UPS get my standard shipping package to me before USPS get my already later than poop 2nd day air package to me.

I goofed... It wont be shipped UPS ground it will be FedEx ground. Please insert FedEx where it says UPS.

thank you and Merry Christmas to all.

I have hade the same issues with the USPS as everyone else. There is really no one to complain to that would be of any help, so as per must governmental agencies we simply bend over and take it up the tailpipe. Their go to excuse is that due to the Covid situation the Postal Service is running on a skeleton work force. Now the holiday season is here to compound the delays even more. I realize they are trying to do monumental work when they are understaffed but who is with me thinking that even after cutting their workforce they come begging for more tax payer dollars in 2021 because they just do not have enough.

YIPPIE

Well I received order confirmation at 10:58 am 12-16-2020 from Pyramid Air they sent it out FedEx ground. My package arrived at 10:24 12-17-2020. I am amazed, 24 hr service on a ground delivery package. thank you FedEx for my early Christmas present.

Still waiting on my 2nd day air USPS package. Tracking says it's still in transit.

Only two things bothering me. One is where is this truck being parked every night with my gun in it. Two, I haven’t left my house all week because I have to sign for it and it keeps showing every day as the delivery day. I think I have shot and retuned every gun I own plus I think I’m on AGN more than Odoyle. On the bright side at least I won’t get COVID.

I bought a WW 2 Barrrel for a M1 Garand I'm restoring. It was sent USPS according to the tracking it has been sitting at the Next town over for 5 days I went there with the tracking number and waited for over an hour while they looked for it . When the supervisor came back he said they didn't have it. I showed him the tracking and the last entery was at his location. He said " it ain't here dude probly never will see it " I hope I get it its the first WW 2 dated barrel in ex cond I have seen in years.
