I usually go the USPS pick up at least once a week and usually have 2 huge roll away wagons to pick up and this time at least 3 packages were returned to sender.

Last time I picked up was last week Monday that's 9 days ago. How can 3 packages be automatically sent back yesterday 30th and 28th? They said there's a 14 days till packages get returned to sender. These packages woulda fit in my local address drop box too BTW whixh they never attempted to do.

I suspect the last week pickup they were too lazy to find them all. That means 2 weeks they missed 3 packages-?

Wasn't my fault 3 people's getting boxes returned due to my local PO screw ups.

They also told me if original sender rejects the returned boxes it goes to main USPS rejected unclaimed warehouse then junked.




 
There were also missing box still MIA sent last year early summer and priority mail envelope mid December MIA Tracking stopped they said I can't claim because the last priority envelope says later than normal expected delivery time so I filed a money order tracker.

Cut down on buying till deliveries stop getting lost or sent back automatically.

I’ve stopped using the USPS because of their recent poor service levels. Most of my packages have been very late recently. It’s like there is no longer a standard that they are trying to meet. Priority mail has been treated like parcel post. It’s particularly bad for you folks in Hawaii and elsewhere, where there is not really another viable option.

USPS has been sucking for a while now. They don't care and there is nothing you can do about it. Try getting an answer from the PO.

The worst part is Fedex and UPS have gotten worse, too. Their tracking has gone down the tubes. Fedex tracking says something like 'Expected Delivery Pending' until they actually deliver it. The Covid excuse has become the way to NOT do your job.

I recently experienced a package addressed to me that didn't get delivered even when tracking said delivered. 

WHO is liable-? Seller is an AGN Member in good standing that I bought many items from b4 over the years and this time the package apparently ACTUALLY got delivered to SOMEBODY THAT WASNT ME NOT TO MY ADDRESS.

Talk to your ( Post Master ) if you have cameras on your house you have proof of it being misdelivered . I've had the same problem with USPS & UPS 50% of the time with large items because the next street over people have the same address but different street name . Most of the problem is GPS with UPS because they only go by address & don't read the street name . Good Luck Edit: only works if you have a postal box at your address sorry

 Darn shame but "kayaker" mention a reality these day's. Camera on the house was the ONLY reason FedEX straightened up. And YOUR local Postmaster seems ??? 

Nationally ( who the heck really knows but) seems some zones are better than others. Had an M/O sent form MI 2 weeks ago, regular snail mail and got here in WA on the 3rd day after he said "it's in the mail". Mailed 3 different areas in the U.S. priority only 1 to the Southern U.S. , 2 got their with 4 day's, the deep South well......

Now what recently shocked me about USPS this week was a large rifle shipped Priority Mail from MI that arrive 1 day EARLY. Go figure.

The folks in Missouri (thinking that's the Postal HQ these days, call D.C. or whatever) WILL look at ANY complaint on a local postmaster and it will be resolved in 1 (one) day. So if ANY rule or reg or policy is not as stated in their reg book -packages held for how long?/other-, even including the USPA FACT that you can mail an airgun- the top office will straighten it out. And that is a fact. Sure you are correct just give them a call.

I can't stand when someone who is paid won't do the job they are paid to do, and USPS seems to be high on numbers of people in that category. You should also know that I don't play favorites and "call them like I see them". In the case of at least one of those packages they DID give you 14 days (according to tracking), in fact they gave you 17 days.

On the 29th I said "I'd contact Post Office if I were you asap so it doesn't come back to me". What did you tell me?

Cannot argue with any of that. Actually here USPS seems to be better than Fedex or UPS. Fedex lost a HW75 from Pyramid air. then an order of pellets took over a week. UPS will give a delivery date, then it will arrive at local center and sit there three days until the published date arrives. COVID seems to be a big excuse, I got a rather nasty reply from one of the vendor makers of what I thought was better air gun parts. I commented that as a pharmacist I did not have the option to scale back or delay services and did not appreciate such excuses.

Suffering here as well, purchased a CF air tank used from a AGN ad that shipped last friday from @ TN and headed to CA. It was sent PRIORITY which is a 2-3 day service. Notification / Tracking stated MONDAY delivery. As of Monday package still sat in TN distribution hub. here Thursday tracking updates are ZERO with just a "It is Late tho on the way".

As of this AM they shuffled the info ... It was received on the 25th and sat in distribution until the 30th ( 5 Days !! ) before heading toward the west coast .. Sheeze !!

☝ I bring the pick up "sorry we missed you" tags to pick up too. HOW can they miss habsung me 3 packages 2 weeks in a row-? When I go there once a week I truck 20 - 30 boxes from 2 rollaway carts.
