Correct. He is shooting a Walther LG400 barreled action in a Pardini GPR1 stock. I own both rifles and now am curious to see how much modifications he had to do. Both are marvelous rifles as they come. He must have known what he wanted. Mary Tucker, also in the Olympics, shoots with him at the a U of Kentucky. She shoots a Pardini GPR1. Maybe he tried her rifle and liked her stock but that is totally speculative on my part so don’t take this as something true you read on the internet. I can see that happening. For example “I really like my Walther as it shoots great but like your Pardini stock better so let’s see if I can make it fit!” Probably not but can see it as a possibility.

The gold medal is historic for Will Shaner and the United States as it's the first ever for the Americans in men's air rifle and came after the three-time UK All-American set an Olympic record score in the final.
