US Optics TS-12 under $300

Why is it the link says it is 44mm but when you get on the site it is 42mm? Is the 42mm the older model?

And the first link says 52 but on the site it shows 44? Is there a 52 mm too? Just trying to differentiate all of them. What gives?

I find the TS12 to be a great scope. Yes, there are some things that make it harder to use. Unusable on 3 power. But who uses it on 3 power really? Lol. This scope works on my wildcat mk3 perfectly. I don’t need illumination. The turrets are tactile and accurate. The mag wheel and parallel are soft and easy to use. The glass is great. The reticle is great and clean. Just accept you have a usable mag range of 6-12 and you won’t be disappointed. $300 for this scope is one hell of a deal.

Thank you for the sharing. I saw your old $375 post, then found these two listing. I'm struggling to choose a compact scope for M3 compact. I know Optisan CP 3-12X32P is SFP. But still want to hear some compare between Optisan CP 3-12X32P and US Optics TS-12.

Now see what you've gone and done. Another scope that I really don't need purchased. Evil men you are. ;^)

Lockedloaded.com had the best price after you put it in the cart. Total $313 including shipping.

Looks like Lockedloaded.com received much more better reviews during recent days. I will post here once I receive any order update.

This is a decent "deal" if you absolutely have to have this exact model from USO...however, I went through this exact exercise about a year or so ago only to confirm with my own eyes that it is the exact, exact same scope as the Discovery and Vector Veyron versions, which can be purchased at anytime for under $200. It's the same glass but with different turrets and reticle; anyone that tells you differently is either trying to justify the cost difference in their own head or has some other agenda.

If you highly prefer the reticle or turret design on the TS12 and are OK with paying the price difference, that's perfectly cool as it's your decision. However, anyone thinking that it's better than the others because it's got US Optics' branding on it or that it has different (i.e. Japanese) glass on it is wasting money.

I bought mine from EuroOptic after they quite honestly recommended AGAINST me buying it because they said that it was made in the same Chinese factory as the Discovery/ Veyron scopes and that I would see no difference in the optical quality. He said that the TS-12 is one of the models that USO imports from China and is not made in the US. I appreciated the honesty of the rep but, of course, had to see for myself to satisfy my own curiosity. Sure enough, glass is the exact same so I got rid of it after a week.

How they can slap a $500+ price tag on this scope makes no sense to me.

EDIT - here is the link to the thread I started about this scope in February:
