I'm pretty tempted to buy a Uragan King, wondering what real world numbers owners are getting? Haven't seen.much mentioned on power they are making..curious to how the. 30 cal slings fx hybrid slugs...anyone input is welcomed.
My King is back at AOA for them to check out. Was throwing some flyers and they said they might have to bore out the moderator just a bit more (or make sure everything is straight and true - they said they had one other issue like mine but the owner of that gun had dropped it and the shroud/baffles got out of true with the barrel).
I have some hybrid slugs but haven't gotten the chance to shoot them yet. But they sure do make power in factory tune! Mine chrony'd at 934 fps with JSB 44.75 pellets, 935 fps with Daystate Rangemaster 44.75's, and 904 fps with JSB 50.15's.
Check with @racolon - he picked one up in 0.30 caliber a few months ago . . .
... Did you figure out how many shots per fill you were getting before shroud issue?
Thanks
How does that big shroud do at reducing the report? There doesn’t appear to be a way to attach a mod so it would need to be quiet out of the box for me.
Nothing wrong wit boring a shroud or ldc. How do you think the thru hole got there in the first place? I use a mill with carbide end mills. Never a drill. ;<)

With the King? No specific numbers for you, but the phrases boatload, $h1tload, and others come to mind readily.
Always seemed like after a shooting session in the back yard, the pressure hadn't dropped as much as expected. And IIRC I wasn't totally filling the gun to 300 bar, more like ~280.
BTW the King's shroud and in-built baffles/moderator are very effective. Kind of a funny noise like a big 'swoosh' of air coming out of the rear of the shroud on each shot, but very backyard friendly in my opinion. Sounds like it is much more effective as compared to the factory set-up on the standard Uragan. I'm not even thinking about wanting to put an additional moderator on my King.
But... don't shoot it without the shroud in place if you don't live on 50 acres. I wanted to test fire it in that configuration to see if my baffles were clipping. Boy that was some 'crack' it put out! Only took one shot in my back yard to know I wasn't doing that again, and I don't live in the city.
Better get it now. Aren't there going to be a bunch of new fees, cost increases and taxes on air guns starting after the first of the year? (wink-wink)
I really like the .25 cal round in general.
Go back and make Tom's day!!!
You know you want it!!! Lol.
The single bottle version might be one of my next purchases... in .25 cal
