Uragan King in the rain

Took the long awaited Uragan King out today in the rain to play with it finally and get halfway zeroed. Looking forward to getting the extended picatinny rail for the bipod and a set of adjustable mounts. Loving this .30.

So far I can say that water bottles at 100 yds are not safe from it. Now I just need some good weather to put some paper targets out and check out some groups. Judging from splatter on a couple metal targets, they are consistently stacking on top of each other at 50. Pretty sure I’ll be switching the lever to the right side at some point as I seem to be constantly reaching for it to reload with my shooting hand anyway only to find it isn’t there. Hahaha kind of like driving the wife’s car with an automatic transmission instead of my car with the manual trans. I’m always looking for the clutch pedal in her car when I come to a stop. 
It’s really nice to be able to go out without a tank and be able to shoot a good session with no need of refilling. Loving it. 

And quiet!! Wow. The King gets a royal 10/10 from me as a bench shooter so far.

I sure love my standard Uragan. Smooth, tough, accurate, and is a fine bench gun as well. Congrat's!

Now, be very, very careful of that bipod. They have very soft ? Alu. locking levers that wear to the point of dumping your gun right off the table. (Very glad it wasn't the Uragan),! without warning. They look good, but would be overpriced at 10 bucks. Worst quality I've ever seen. Luckily, I fixed mine, (I'm a machinist) and put hardened steel pins in their place. But the issue with the swivel will drive you nuts eventually. 

For what it's worth, mine cost me hundreds of dollars of damage on a fine Airgun. I put it on a cheaper gun thinking I must have done something wrong. (as if you could), went inside to get a drink and heard the gun hit the ground again. Even though the bipod is now repaired,, is is a box some where and can stay there.

I like these Kings!

25 cal 29gr NSA slugs transformed mine into a pretty fun gun for long range. About 100 shots before I need to fill and 300Y capable. Yesterday in tricky winds I could hit a 1" spinner quite a bit at 100Y.

Not too much of a problem at 190Y either on a 5" spinner. Seeing where I missed to make the proper correction was a hassle but once I figured that out it wasn't difficult connecting.

Hey knife maker. Thanks for the advice. That’s a bipod I use on a Condor usually, I just grabbed it to have one to use the other day but it’s always been a pretty tight little bipod on the Condor. I have ordered an Atlas clone for the Uragan but it’s not arrived yet.

Yes these barrels are pretty darn good. Long distance shooters for sure. Can you imagine the shot count folks are getting overseas in .177 at 12fpe?? Hahahahaha fill the king up once and shoot for a lifetime hahahahaha
