Uragan .30 shot string

cetercut I almost got one but due to exposed action I did not , I think what MTN ghost is saying is why I didnt buy it , when you cock gun , the parts are all exposed and greased and it is not a WOODS gun where you can get like sand or dirt near this or it WILL FAIL , look at video , even AGT says it is not a Hunting gun because of this , I am not a bench shooter

Well, I have had two Vulcans, and two Vulcan2s, and they have the same cocking mechanism. To be fair to AGT, if this design is "exposed and greased, and not a woods gun and will fail", then of course the Impact and Edgun R5M are in the same category... Do people hunt in the woods with Impacts and EDguns? Just a thought. I've used each of them for hunting in dusty, windy conditions, and had ZERO issues with any of my Vulcans, they are very high quality guns on the same level as Impacts, and probably more solidly built and durable, similar to Edguns… When you cock an R5M, have you seen how exposed the rollers are inside the open action? Of course you're entitled to your opinion, but how about actually owning and shooting one prior to passing judgement that I've never seen you pass on Impacts or Edguns...

The EDgun R3M & Lelya 2.0 actions are “exposed” on both sides as their actions are fully ambi all the time with two cocking handles. DOUBLE EXPOSURE . For this "exposed" action bit to exclude a PCP for being used for hunting is complete hogwash. If it were true, a lot of great guns would need to be relegated to non-hunting capable........Nonsense.

Mike, I just got this I have to spend some time with it on the bench and being it's almost winter here in Ohio that likely won't get done until spring. May take it out a few.times and try to get a coyote this winter so I wanted to get the speed up.

Oh no, I used a .30 Vulcan2 Tactic for like hunting two weekends ago in the WOODS, and it was like outside all day both days in very dusty and windy conditions with like sand and dirt near it, and I like beat the crap out of it! I'm sure it WILL FAIL!!! I'm glad I found out so I can sell it quickly... Oh wait, I bought it for that very reason, and also to shoot PRC and Speed Challenge. Maybe I should sell it and buy an R5M or Impact...?

Damn, I'd be afraid my gun would FAIL! Its interestingly funny that an R5M was run over by Ed with an SUV, and it has greased and exposed parts on BOTH sides of the gun, yet it still worked, and not one peep about the design from all the Eddy fanboys... Things that make you go hmmm...

Would be a hell of a test for any of the platforms we shoot , I do wonder what if any torture testing is don by the designers, there has to be some.

Wrong. The cocking components aren't as exposed, but the fact is that AGT says in the manual that it should not be used for hunting. Doing so voids the warranty. EdGun OTOH made them for hunting and for general abuse. They're pretty vocal about this.

The Eddys are exposed X2 in fact whether bolt is opened or closed. I’ll take my chances cause I void warranties on all my PCPs. When it is absolute on the line, I’ll take the Uragán. I’m not hear to bicker though. You do you brother. All my guns will be fine
