The Career II 707s and Sumatra specifically the long guns and some of the others already mentioned.

The old long barrel FXs with Pre Smooth Twist OLD Lothar Walter barrels that shoot more accurate than the new ones are what I speak of for 300 yard shooting.

The old guns 10 years or older with the Lothar Walter barrels its their superlative barrels are by far better for long range accuracy than the newer Lothar Walter barrels and way less pellet pickiness.

The early FX ST thick barrels have similar characteristics but not as accurate for the longest imaginable ranges.

Should have bought out all of the discontinued FX Lothar Walther barrels from AoA years ago.

Very interesting. Always wanted to try a Career 707, and an old Fx. Maybe ill do that oone day. Thx 4 the info.

I think it was, but don’t forget in order to get a “competition” shot string flatness he was re-filling his gun frequently. Every 12 to 15 shots if I remember correctly. ..

Yeah probably so. IIRC he had a higher capacity bottle he would use in Russia which would help eliminate that hassle.
